Gorgeous Crushed Velvet Resin Tray

Күн бұрынIn this video, I show how I created this beautiful crushed velvet look on this resin tray using plastic wrap. It is an absolute eye-catcher and would make a perfect decoration on your table, and can also be used as a tray of course.

How long did you wait before applying the powder before the top coat? I mean, how many hours did you let the black resin cure? Looks amazing!

I meant to apply after about 4 hours, but it was late so I ended up falling asleep for the night, so it ended up being overnight, but it still worked great!

What else can you do to prevent the powder from rising to the top of the clear layer?

There's not too much you can do aside from trying to remove as much excess powder as possible.

Not sure why they call this crushed velvet. I thought velvet was soft and silky, not just a wrinkled pile of fabric. Saran Wrap has provided sweet art textures for years though, Love the colors u chose to decorate the wrinkles.

Thank you! I think the crushed velvet name comes from the shimmery aspect? Either way, I was very happy with how it turned out 😁
