I love Allen's character in this movie. Just a strong guy looking for a good fight, but he's got character and a sense of honor and sportsmanship to back it up. It's always awesome to see when two people who are good at what they do push each other and respect each other the way these two do.

Probably one of the best fight scenes in a Jackie Chan flick. Smooth, exciting, complex, technical and just fun to watch all together. Fantastic choreography. You really get the feeling that both fighters respect one another on a warrior level. Great scene.

that double punch around 2:07 is actually really hard to block, this fight choreography is amazing

I have experience in Sanda (San shou) as well as WuShu, Choy Li Fut, Wing Chun, Wudang and Bei Shaolin and have also learned Shorinji Kempo-Karate, aikido and fought against Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Savate pros as well as classical styles masters under their rules and without any rule too

@LightBrand Bigger gloves means the foam absorbs more impact of every shot you deliver. The fella in the black started with what looks like 16 oz sparring gloves, thus any hit he landed would be decently diminished while the small white gloves would hit almost full impact and just be there to stop knuckle cuts. Big gloves usually have padding on the top to help block blows better though, but the larger they are the less your hit. Glove size disparity of that kind makes a huge differnce.

I love this fight! Mainly because those fair, one-on-one fight actually make the filmmakers get TWO skilled people instead of one star and endless hordes of useless henchmen :) Also, I lol'd at the Rocky theme spoof somewhere in the middle :D

the first few seconds of that fight and maybe a few other moments were sped up very slightly. brad aint quite as good as jackie used to be, but of course jackie's gettin on so much better now.
