Gotta say, _“Won't blow the steam back into a corpse.”_ at 7:02 is one hell of a colorful phrase that really nails the whole vibe from the intro. As much as I enjoy some pretty pixel art & Metroidvania-ing, good world building in dialogue is always a real treat.

Though there is a lot more dialogue reading in this than Tom's typical stuff as others have pointed out, I did really enjoy watching this and would love to see more of it

the intro alone set up two or three games that sounded like they would have been fun to play. halfway through i just skipped through. i think it's better to sprinkle most of that through the game world rather than a giant dump at the start.

Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1688 Cant believe Tom got "This Video Is Fireshine Sponsored By Games" wow Title does not lie, this is Gordeous :D and damn, the animations are super nice. Also really loving the designs and such, I mean just look at those little Robot Laser Spiders :D A super interesting story and world :D, I do hope Tom returns to this as would love to see were it goes, although I will probably do that myself first by picking it up XD ha ha. But if that wasn't proof enough, we know its a good game as you can Pet The Dog Gotta say, Alloy RX-78 isn't in my Top ten, but def high, maybe number 12 for me Liking Tom's theory of Aletheia being a Akhaians, but I feel it is rather she is a descendent of/related to one, rather than one herself (Mainly as she doesn't look hundreds of years old Ha ha), but who am I to say, perhaps Akhaians don't age

so the akhaians turned evil, right? except one who merk'd them all... so when they exiled the akhaians they specifically exiled the ones who weren't corrupted, who later hated them for throwing them out, and the one who saved them all. the logic's not great on that one. has a "creating your own bad guy" mentality.
