This is a baby elephant.. think of a human toddler and how often they might give you a slap on the arm or leg with their hand if they're annoyed or upset.... harmless to an adult human... that's what this baby elephant did.. annoyed with the human, gave a "slap" ... except that "toddler" was 4x to 5x her mass so it was like being hit by a car at low speed.

2:03 I recall standing next to a group of little kids at the zoo in front of the Llama exhibit. I explained to them that Llamas spit through their noses when angry. They gave me a collective "oh yeah, sure look" of disbelief certain that I was full of shit. At that very moment a guy trying to take a photo received a full snot rocket. The look on those little bastards' faces was priceless.

I had one loug on me one day at a petting farm my son and wife were laughing at me the rest of the week..That same day I was feeding a giraffe and he tried to swallow my arm he got all the way to my elbow before I could get it out 😂 we still laugh about it to this day

According to NYPost: “Every day, the zookeepers shift the gorilla troop into their indoor habitat so that keepers can place the animals’ lunch in their outdoor habitat. Due to keeper error, staff entered the yard unaware that the silverback was still in its habitat.” It didn't say if anyone was fired, just that the video was filmed in October and the first security guard to respond filmed it and uploaded it months later and that the video being shared has been emotional for all keepers involved.

I always wonder what the ulterior motive is for filming yourself eating on the beach, except that you wait for exactly such a moment like this and then act as stupidly as possible... Note: I just noticed that the elephant is *chained to the tree.* In Asia, when you see this, it means that the elephant is male and that he's in musth. This is when their bodies have up to 150x more testosterone surging through their systems in response to one or many females going into estrus. (In heat) The bulls become uncontrollable and are chained for the safety of themselves and the humans, who must do everything for the elephants from a good distance away to keep from being killed by one of these enraged bulls. She's lucky to have gotten away with just a broken ass. Helmet or not, that elephant could have ripped her head off and handed it to her before her body hit the ground.

@@koriw1701 the elephant isn’t showing signs of being particularly aggressive, it’s just the usual stress that goes with being chained to a tree. You can see there’s no noticeable temporin on the sides of the elephant’s head, and it still appears to be a relatively young animal. Unfortunately, keeping elephants in chains is just normal

@@joeg5414Not accurate. If a bear approaches you in the wild, you 100% want to ROAR (or scream) directly at it. Strange / piercing sounds can often frighten them or confuse them enough to reconsider a possible attack. Self-preservation is paramount among most wild animals and they will only ignore it if they are desperate for food or defending their cubs. Introduce possible threats (such as an alien sounding shout / scream etc) and they will often back off.

I was standing at a train station in India one morning when two local strays decided to get a bit of the zoomies. One poor unsuspecting guy who was minding his own business waiting for the train got absolutely shitmixed by one of the dogs. After checking on the poor guy to make sure he was okay, it was by consensus one of the funniest things anyone at the station had ever seen. That was one of the best morning commutes I've ever had.

So at the zoo near me (San Diego Zoo) there is a very large male camel. And i walked up with my family talking about nonsense. There was a lady (sheila if your from Australia) who was talking to the camel with a big camera saying "look over here, here boy". He had his back to her eating hay or some nonsense. But as I walked up (I have a deep voice) talking, he immediately turned and looked at me with only what I can describe as an angry look. And he started to chew what I would call, very aggressively. The lady/sheila was very excited, saying stuff like "yes right there, that's the shot". I, however, was trying to calculate the exact distance they can spit at. I was like 50ft away, but can they spit that far. He really seemed to be working up some spit and continued to look angrily at me until we finally walked on. he was about 7 feet or taller at the shoulder btw. A real imposing beast I would say.

Idk this for a fact but something i often notice before an elephants lashes out is they do a lil sway or waddle from side to side i guess its a gesture to keep your distance because they always attack after being approached....but im no expert and i could be wrong🤷🏾‍♂️😆

I remember my grandmothers, if you needed a dump in winter it would be freezing cold and you’d drop trousers, do your business, wipe up and get out of there as fast as possible. Then back into the house were hopefully there was a fire going. you’d shit like the SAS storming a building, Surprise. Aggression. Speed. It was only later on when terraced homes were modernized that they began to move the toilets inside, but as they were so solidly built, rather than knock them down, many became garden sheds or a place to store things such as tools. I believe sometimes an outdoor toilet in Australia is called a ‘dunny’.

You say that like she's in the wrong for doing so. If I were an attractive woman, and all I had to do to make money was film myself on the reg doing mundane, everyday things, I'd 100% do it. No more 8-5, 5 days a week of hard Labour, just lounging around filming myself and uploading it to the internet. The EASIEST and most care free job in the planet, Yeah I'd absolutely do that. You want to address the real issue here, it's thirsty and sad dudes on the internet who give women money just for being attractive. These dudes need to get out and live life, instead of just giving away their hard earned money to support somebody financially who they don't even know, and they don't get anything out of it.

Or is it more likely that she's doing the "influencer" thing, trying to get followers on instagram, so she can get sponsors and get people to follow her on Patreon and Only fans? Cause one of those is a very odd thing to do, and the other makes sense and money. Occam's razor my friend. Not very scientific but it's good to use in everyday life.

What i noticed with the gorilla is that it had so many opportunities to run and attack the staff and they would have been powerless to stop it. Instead the silverback chose to run "around" the keepers as if ushering them out of his enclosure, giving enough aggression as if to say "f around and find out" but at same time deliberately avoiding making a direct approach. The point it ran to the onlooker in the window really felt like he did that to protect that person, allowed the keeper to pass by and then continue to the other end of the enclosure. That silverback definitely showed grest awareness of the danger he and the keepers presented to each other and took the steps himself to avoid escalating it.
