The acoustic versions of Gorillaz songs always sounds so amazing. Acoustic really does fit Damon's voice so wonderfully.

Damon once said he can't play barre chords and I often see him dragging the E shape chord throughout the fretboard, and he still gets to create so many great tunes on the guitar. Damn...

I’m pretty sure he wasn’t truly proficient on guitar until post Demon Days/Phase 2. If that’s true, he’s come a long way in a short amount of time!

hearing souk eye makes me cry not cause i’m sad or anything but it just makes me feel a crazy happy to the max my soul and heart are perfectly synced and listening to this made me ball my eyes out. Damon doesn’t know it but he’s the only artist who’s given me goosebumps he’s the only artist I care about anymore. He deserves the world. Thank you for making true music even if you’ll never meet me or read this.

This. I have mental health problem, including emotional hypersensitivity (dunno how's it called in english but let's make it short by saying that ALL my emotions are super strong and often hard to handle) Damon's music helps my manage and control my emotions, it's like the best therapy I've ever had. And it definitely saved my life, not that I wanted to die or anything, but always having strong emotions is a pain in the *ss in everyday life.

Souk Eye is by far my favorite Gorillaz song like holy shit. Every time I hear it I wanna break down crying and hearing this acoustic version was like a punch to the gut. Damon has such beautiful vocals!

I've always loved playing stop the dams and melancholy hill on my little beat up acoustic guitar, and in a few months, when my son is born, I'll sing these songs to him all the time because I find them to be beautiful 🤎🧡

I think that MTV is not prepared for a Gorillaz Unplugged since the challenge would be more for the television station as such than for the band since Damon Albarn in this acoustic showed all his genius as his simplicity and charisma with the public
