You have quite an eclectic collection of bottles in this room. All the Keeper's Heart is a bit unusual. Looks like some Far North in the background - I recently picked up their 6 year BIB Rye and it's great. Based on the smaller/craft brands I have to guess you are located in Minnesota/Wisconsin. Down here in Missouri we don't see Far North normally, but I know one store that goes out of their way to get cases of less known craft brands, even if they don't have distribution in the state. Not exactly sure how that works, but they do it. Anyway, I appreciate seeing someone with a normal wall of whiskey and a variety of whiskies. In my opinion, the more spirits you try, including non-whiskey the better your palate becomes. Channels who only drink bourbon and don't even bother with rye make me a bit sad.

Great review! I like the Woodford DO quite a bit and I've been waffling on trying the Peerless. After seeing this, I'm definitely going to give it a go. Nice little play on words and confirmation chuckle in the background. LOL

Well, now I’m happy I got the last bottle of this at a store near my work. I hope to get the same tasting notes. Also, good luck with the car built out of sand and I’ll check out some other reviews.

Personally I prefer the palate of peerless DO over the woodford DO. Cheers!

I've been able to try Peerless DO bourbon and DO rye side by side. The DO rye was the better of the two, according to our group tasting. The DO bourbon though is still pretty good though, don't take that as a knock against it.
