I think because this was filmed in USA, they seem quiet and nervous a bit, which normally couldn't be further from the reality. They are really chaotic and hilarious, I love how they are so different from each other, but they match together so well! You should watch videos like 'try not to laugh' or their show 'hard carry 2'

The most biggest praise to got7 if somebody says that they are calm because they got their tables confiscated in award shows because of their chaotic energy 😭😭😭🧍

One thing i wanna mention is that Jackson (Chinese), Mark (American) and Bambam (Thai) are the only ones fluent in English (other too but not as much as them) so the may seem a lil bit more relaxed in foreign interviews

Omg you're in for a treat if you dive more into their contents. You can pick up any member and pair them with any other member in the group and you'll still get the same level of chemistry. Their friendship with each other is one of the reasons that everyone loves them so much. Despite of each of them being in different companies now they are still a group. No contract binding them just their friendship and love for us fans! Each of them has a distinct personality but when together they somehow balance each other out perfectly. These boys are the sweetest 😍 and yes, Jackson is the "mood-maker" of the group. I'm sure you'll appreciate their group dynamics, with more than half of them being introverted, and mainly Jackson and Bambam the most outspoken ones. They're all hilarious together!

Jackson is an absolute riot!! I never got into GOT7, I knew all their singles and I'm starting to get into their solo stuff (BamBam and Jackson especially) but I'll never hesitate to click on an interview/video if Jackson is in the thumbnail. He just has one of those personalities that are so likable. oh and a Fun Fact ! Jackson and Namjoon are really good friends I'm pretty sure there are some videos about their friendship out there. Jackson being the 'clingy friend' that will go out of his way to embarrass you and Namjoon trying and failing to 'avoid' him in public. Pure comedy. Yugyeom, BamBam, and Jungkook are also good friends! They were all born in '97, which I think might have been the reason why they met initially (don't quote me on that though).

I would be interested to see you react to them doing lives together and how they interact. It might change your perception about them pretty quick lol. They are kinda infamous for being very loud and chaotic in your face. It's always a mess. This video is just one of their first US promotions. I could almost feel how self-conscious they are. Jackson and Jinyoung are best friends for real but you have to see how savage and manipulative jinyoung is, and how Jackson is always calling him the best actor and the best liar every chance he gets. The most straightforward has to be banbam, that child holds nothing back whatsoever. JB goes from being intimidating to being the most crazy one all the time.

GOT7 debuted in 2014 (BTS debuted in 2013, Ateez and Stray kids in 2018, TXT in 2019). Kpop groups have a 7 years long contract which GOT7 decided not to sign again with their company (they were under JYP, same as Stray kids), but they said they aren't disbanding as a group, just leaving the company. When it comes to ages Mark is the oldest born in '93 (Jin is born in '92). The youngest Bambam and Yugyeom are both born in '97 same as Jungkook while BangChan from Stray kids is also born in '97 BUT he is the oldest (Ateez and TXT oldest are born in '98). So that is the generational gap between the 5 groups you are reacting to so far. Both BTS and GOT7 are considered 3rd generation kpop while SKZ, Ateez and TXT are 4th generation groups. With the members the youngest 3rd generation group members are similar ages to the oldest 4th generation group members so there is a generational gap there, plus of course the 3rd generation has been in the industry longer and all of their contracts are coming to an end this year (people consider groups debuting in 2016 as 4th generation because that was when BTS was really changing how the kpop industry works)

GOT 7 (which you pronounced correctly) is just that group that will always stand out, in other groups there might be one or two charismatic guys but all of the GOT 7 members are very charismatic and confident. Something that I love about GOT7 is how independent and individualistic they are, as almost all of them have become solo artists or actors now and they also left their company together (which is a big deal in the Kpop industry) and signed together in another company, the fact that they did proves that they actually like each other. I’m sure one day you will react to NCT anyways Jackson rocks.

One thing I noticed in those Friendship test for K-pop groups, was that GOT7 was the only one who actually did the fall trust. Everyone else just pushed the person falling, or they did it half-hearted ad it shows lol So yeah, it adds a charm to it

Hi Max, so much on these guys... Got7 are very special people, beyond just the International members. Please don’t overlook the 4 Korean members. It is so worth noting that Jaebeom took on responsibility as leader for sorting out the legal Issues for them taking back group’s rights to Got7 and their songs (all of them have been lyricists / composers of many of their songs over their 7 years at JYPE). Jaebeom is one of those people who shoots straight. First debuting with Jinyoung as an actor, then with him as JJ Project. So, those two were already debuted before Got7 existed. After years of training together with people including members of Day6 and Bang Chan of SZK, the group was suddenly formed and debuted in a rush to help overcome a company financial crisis before any of them felt ready, or even understood why that particular group would debut out of all the trainees. I’ve always had a sense Jaebeom was a natural but reluctant leader. He knows and values each of the members so well, it’s hilarious, but he is not confident speaking English in front of a camera. I would say he’s generally shy in front of a camera, having studied film, and being more comfortable behind one. Got7 are genuinely deeply connected and respect each other endlessly, and all Ahgase hope that will always be the case.

Every time I hear JY call Jackson his best friend here i just 😭😭 JayB still feels bad about fighting with Mark back then…when he remembers that he was fighting with an American kid who barely knew Korean at the time😂 These guys are family and you can see it well in every interaction. GOT7 members are not only close to each other but also to each other's siblings, especially with Yugyeom's brother and Mark's siblings back in LA. Mark would sleepover often at Yugyeom's apartment and Yugyeom's brother would babysit Mark's pet when he went on tour, he was even in the last GOT7 vlog the day Mark flew back to LA permanently (he's only going to be in Korea for group activities from now on since he's spent almost a decade living away from his family while he was under jype, visiting home very rarely). Also you'll find all members' parents hanging out at each other's cafe's or showing up to a member's solo activities or even going on holidays together without the boys. Not only are the sevens close to each other, their parents are too. Jackson's parents have often hosted GOT7 during their China concerts and Mark's family home has been their second home during their US tours. Also in Thailand, Bambam's mom is JAYB's biggest fan and is often seen supporting his solo activities, it's really cute. Actually Thailand is probably the only country where no other group can match, let alone surpass, GOT7's popularity, they support not just Bambam but every single member. This is why GOT7's dynamic is very unique, you can't point at two members and say they're the closest to each other, they each have their designated "partner in crime" or "same age bestie" in the group but it's very, very difficult to single out a pair that is closer than the others, they literally hangout in any combination outside schedules depending on which member is available that day.

Jackson's a natural and you can check out his solo interviews too which are super fun. The group as a whole is a riot and is always fun to watch.

I think GOT7 & BTS are the only groups I've seen who seem to actually get along. Many may have got along in the beginning, but as fame and prestige comes into play, it seems 1 or 2 members in a group lose themselves to that and it affects the whole team dynamic. Even some big groups whose fans think they 'love' each other but it's clear to everyone outside that the minute they can go solo....they will. But GOT7 and BTS have never seemed to want that. I like a few GOT7 songs and think I really could've got into them if it wasn't for the limited freedom of expression that JYP gave them. In the end, I think they broke up, not because of one another, but because of the company. Hopefully they'll work as a group someday without those barriers and do something even more amazing.

tyvm! Obiously Youngjae was nervous as shit here. He can be very confident in a comfortable environment, which this of course wasn't. Funny thing about him, he's WAY better at interacting with people than a camera. When he's in front of the camera alone and not with the group, where he'll choose to interact with them, he has the funny habit to talk to and look at the staff behind the camera instead of the audience, which he's more comfortable with. I guess he couldn't do that here because of the language barrier and ended up very insecure. You really gotta see them together though, completely different people. This is like the calmest GOT7 video in existence.

You are true. GOT7 really is like 7 reallly unique individuals. We can easily tell who is who with a bare minimum, they are the first group where I could recognize everyone's voice just from a song without looking color coded lyrics. They are just sooooo different from each other, which makes them unique & interesting.

u nailed some of it like how Mark dynamic is quite diff... he's the cool older brother to the group.. seem quieter than the rest but certainly is hyper when the mood is right.. Only 4 of the members of GOT7 are Korean. Mark is American, Jackson is from Hong Kong, & Bambam is from Thailand. What’s extremely unique about GOT7 is that 6 out 7 members have fluency is more than 1 language. Jackson alone speaks 5 languages fluently. They struggled in the beginning because all of the cultural differences however overtime GOT7 has adapted a more western/American culture of just going with the flow & being less strict on keeping some of the traditional Korean age hierarchy that tends to put barriers in between members in other groups. To this day GOT7 is well known amongst kpop fans and their fellow artist to have the most genuine relationship with each other. Korean & English are usually spoken in everyday conversations among the members and even for the 3 members that don’t speak English fluently they still have a high level of understanding. You can see in the video Mark speaking in English & even Chinese(by accident lol) to Youngjae & Jayb despite them speaking in Korean & they both understand him perfectly. While it’s common in the industry to see foreign kpop members it is rare to see a group adapt more to the foreign members instead of them having to adapt to the Korean members. The Korean members really empathize with the foreign members & have made GOT7 a safe space for them to be accepted & celebrated.

"I wanna be in a KPOP band" no fr! I think America needs two learn a thing or two about communicating with people, especially men. I see so many male reactors say they wish they had friends like this. It's sad, I wish we lived in a culture that accepted men for being vulnerable.

For me to read people, I can't read them for the 1st time when I saw them especially in front of camera. This is what I've learnt since I've graduated from clinical Psychology and has worked as HR for almost 10 yrs. I've know kpop for 18yrs I knew many groups and used to be some groups' fan, some were great, nice and kind and some were fake. GOT7 are the most genuine and naturally funniest group for me, they have great humor. And I mean to all of them. There are so close and take really good care to each other NOT just in front of camera. If someone got sick, members reached to that member immediately. And yep, sometimes they were awkward because there are some members have great chemistry and some are just ok. However, they are still so close and know each other really well. Like when Bambam knew how to make JB smile uncontrollably 😆 in idols room. If you want to know more about GOT7's personality, listen to their self-produced songs, watch Real GOT7 and Hard carry SS1-2.5 and some interviews. Funny how you said Jinyoung seems like an actor because he actually is. He has done several korean movies and dramas and he's very well known for his acting roles in korea. Probably one of the most well known Kpop Idol actors out there.

Funny but some idols actually acts like shocked whenever they learn that the boys meet up or go out together. It seems like it is hard for idols to be real close with among themselves in their group. But GOT7 is really different. They are even open to share their fights and just laugh it out. They are family. Their parents are also close with each other. Check them out more and you'll see how right you are when you said they are different. Different is a compliment and we love it.

You really peeped well lol Jinyoung is indeed an actor he’s actually pretty popular and in high demand as an actor ! Their age range is actually similar to whom you reacted they’re from 93 to 97 but they do are super known for being super chill/ mature and like down to earth attitude amongst groups in general. They are also known for their charisma/ visuals/ versatility like any of them has a strong personality and express themselves freely even in their work, they all do solo work and it’s working pretty well which is rare for a group to work both solo and be successful as solo too for the whole group. Young Jae and Mark are indeed amongst the shyest ones, you really analyzed them well lol tho their energy is actually similar to the boys just depending on some times. They’re also very chill because actually 3 out of the 7 are from different countries, bam bam mark and Jackson. Jackson and Jinyoung are the members that are the most « touchy/ expressive » they’re not afraid of showing it, and they’re very confortable with the camera. JayB Mark and Youngjae are a bit on the reserved side but when they’re in a confortable surrounding they’re actually matching the rest of the vibe. Yugyeom and Bam Bam are the youngest ones so they’re a bit less showy of they’re affection but they’re the most random / wild ones lol. Them together are honest, unfiltered, chaotic , crazy. They broke a table once in mcd stage when they are together, they get their table confiscated in award show because they don't stop playing flip bottle ven after the table is gone they start playing it on floor. I think youngjae was nervous here probably bcs it's an English interview also him speaking in Korean . u can tell they were not in their comfortable zone bcs what normally knw is them wilding with their chaotic energy. this was definitely calmest interview . you definitely should check them out more. I am really impressed how you pointed out Jinyoung being an actor, he indeed is an excellent actor. He actually started career as an actor first before an idol and is still doing many movies and dramas.

I'm subscribing because I'm really looking forward to more got7 content from this channel. I have my own opinions on their dynamic as a group so I'm looking forward to yours. I've only recently become a fan and the biggest reason is that they showed in a big way that their relationship is more than a contract, i.e. leaving their company and going to different companies while still staying together as a group, and fighting to keep their name. Before diving into their KZfaq content, I found all of that very encouraging. I hope you come to enjoy them as much as we do.

Just found this randomly. The more you watch them you’ll find they have this amazing dynamic with each other, all very unique and interesting. Like for example… Jaebeom and mark took the older brother role, they have this unspoken bond where they understand each other. They are not vocal about much things but you will eventually find their silent understanding with each other. Also with Mark, he isn’t very vocal most of the times and when the younger ones are being all over the place he’ll sit back and watch but when it’s the TIME with his one word, they’ll be put into place. If he says ‘okay guys focus’ they will stop everything and focus.. see so much dynamics goingg on in this group and it’s so interesting to eventually understand as you watcch more of them. I would love to hear your opinion more on Youngjae. He's often dubbed the sunshine of the group because of his easy going nature but he's also one of the most honest celebrities I've ever seen, be it with fans or even his members. Like one time he was asked which b-side song, of a certain album they were promoting at that time, he liked the most and he immediately answered "none" and he wasn't joking. And the other members seemed to respect it despite they themselves being involved in the writing of the album, they joked about it but none of them seemed to hold a grudge (trust me all GOT7 members are so close and transparent with each other that you'd immediately be able to tell if two members were fighting) which showed to me exactly why he was so comfortable saying that. Most idols I've seen would be very careful, especially because GOT7 was under a big3 company at the time of the incident, but Youngjae has always, always been like that since his debut days as far as I remember and he is still one of the most beloved of not only the fans but also his members. I hope there'll be compilations that I can link to you.

Got7 is really wild i love them so much

I would definitely revisit GOT7 as a 7 piece again if I were you because this group is incredibly close as a whole but also in different pairings. The energy that Jinyoung has with Jackson for example is a complete 180 compared to the energy that Jinyoung shares with Yugyeom. There are just so many dynamics to this group. Their friendship truly truly stands out in kpop because their bond is incredibly strong. They might be colleagues but they’re also genuinely best friends which I know cannot be said for many other groups.
