This isn't the performance that usually gets suggested. The one from the Gakku concert is the one where he hits the highest note ever sung in a live performance. He wrote the music to this song when he was 19. The lyrics were written by a poet/lyricist father of a schoolmate of Dimash's named Oral Baisengir, who also wrote the lyrics to "My Swan" and co-wrote lyrics to "Qairan Elim". This fact is omitted from many websites, so fans assume Dimash wrote the lyrics about a particular person. It's probable that he could have told Baisengir what to write about though.

So I always heard he wrote it at 19 but I swear I just saw some clip somewhere of him saying he wrote it at 17? Don’t think I made that up but can’t remember anything more detailed.

With Dimash we hang onto every little crumb we can get. I set alarms everytime a new song is about to drop. He completely blows me away every single time I hear him sing. Even if I've heard the song 1,000 times. There isn't one song of his that I dont absolutely cherish.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Every time I listen to any of my KPop favorites and think “wow beautiful voices” I have to remind myself not to compare them to Dimash 😂. How can anyone compete? Yes, he is angelic. 🥰 Can’t believe it has been seven years since I first heard him and fell head over heals with his voice and charisma and humbleness.

Dimash is heaven sent, as his name shows. Qudaibergen means Given By God. His grandma knew his destiny before he was born. What you are hearing and seeing was meant for you and me, for this time, for the whole world. Enjoy it to the full. Previous generations did not have such an opportunity Technology, talent, beauty, character,humility, opportunity, the internet, national pride, international appeal and ability to communicate as a person,……..there is so much in this package that it cannot be by accident. He will have concerts that help to change the world for the better. His frequencies are repairing damage to music and the understanding of it. He is endless delight.

Dimash has written the melody himself. But you have to listen to the Gakku version of this song because of the incredible high note he sang (higher than highest key on the 88 key grand piano).

Always and again I enjoy your reaction to Dimash so much, you describe what so many of us feel - every single time we listen to Dimash's voice it is a miracle and it has got such a massive effect on us. We know his voice so well and what Dimash can do - but we don't get used to it, again and again it is pure joy, affection, gratitude, healing, amazement - that there is only coming pure good and beauty from him.... I had completely forgotten that he changed from his language to Mandarin midway through. Composed by Dimash as a teenager, Unforgettable Day is such an anthem now. I agree with you and I have listened to the best of the best, but Dimash is mesmerizing, intoxicating, heart stopping, and such an incredible person, how lovely that we have been introduced to him and his music ❤️

The Gakku open air concert is the best version of this song. Beautifully sung as always by Dimash.😎👌❤️ While you get someone to pinch you, also ask them to pick up your jaw lol.😂👌❤️ Autumn Strong is another beautiful song too.❤️

For me, if you want to see that the dimash performance in this song is more emotional and soulful, then look at the singer's version. Because by seeing the expressions of the audience, it adds to the emotion. Especially when Dimash sings in the Chinese part. It makes the audience more emotional again. But if you want to see a more powerful and insane, then look at the version of Gakku. Crazy note D8. Thanks for your reaction

Absolutely love your reaction. The version of this at his digital show is one of the bests. He does it different every time I love your enthusiasm for him. You are awesome. He certainly gives his whole heart and soul. I am 67 and have never felt like this about anyone. It’s not just his voice which is the best ever to exist but it’s everything, looks, stage presence, the ability to just pull you into his world. I have watched the same performances 100s of times and still get the same intense pleasure, awe, amazement, or melt to a puddle. Still the same, even though I know what is coming.

What is important to keep in mind is that the voice comes from many hours of practice. Many hours of singing lessons. Dimash has the best conditions of course with such a gift basically. We must be thankful that his grandmother made sure he started singing.

This is a version that reactors rarely choose, although I like it better from a musical perspective. However, in the popular version from the Gakku Music Festival, he has a HUGE surprise ready for you. He does many duets and is always respectful of other artists limitations. You could try Ti Amo Cosi where he sings with Lara Fabian and Aida Garifullina. If you really want to have your mind blown then watch him perform as part of a group of 6 in the Shine Super Brothers show doing We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions and Suzhou River. Dimash had a big part in the arrangement of the first. For Suzhou River the group were struggling with the arrangement and Dimash took the song and worked overnight to make it work for 6 people including one rapper and an actor who did not have good singing voices. Although Dimash ended up leaving the show early due to ill health he left with a whole new group of friends (as per usual, he never fails to make people fall in love with his gentle nature and wicked sense of humour.) who acknowledged him as a true musical genius who would be sorely missed in the group.

@@GOTGames the whole show was so good. They had to take part in various games first to gain their choice of song in a list of 4. Dimash's part in losing the volleyball game will last forever in our memories and watching him engage a team member in friendly fire in the laser tag was brilliant if only for hearing his very musical laughter. So many funny backstage clips, revealing both his incredible sense of humour and his huge work ethic.

Great reaction. No one can listen to Dimash without emotion because Dimash puts all he’s got into every song. I would like to suggest Unforgettable Day from Dimash’s Gakku concert. This is, in my opinion, his best version and you will hear the D8 note that isn’t even on the piano, it’s a whistle tone which is just mind blowing.

If you are eventually going to be watching the other performances from Singer, you might want to check out The Lion Band. You see their members in the backstage shots all of the time. The guy with the long hair is one of the guitarists. See their Episode 1 song "(We Are) Lion". Also use Gloria Wu's videos of Episodes 7 "Daididau", and 8 "Daybreak". Besides the Eng. subs, her intros give background stories to the songs. The intro to "Daybreak" shows what happened when he lost his voice the day before having to sing, and getting injections to his throat. (For her intros use the "cc" button.) Hey Brother, you have the best reaction show by far. thanks bringing and feeling and describing the utter pure beauty and love Dimash puts in every song. Most reaction videos they all sound the same, oh he kept his larynx up just the right amount and let just a little air in with perfect control. No joy in those folks, just music robot jabber. Probably the song that affects me the most, every single time I watch it is “Love is like a Dream”. One of the absolute best to showcase his lower range and some mid range notes that never fail to melt me at the knees. Then his supreme angelic vouch followed by his usual huge power end. It is a stunning performance. Dimash wearing a red velvet suit, on a stool, with Igor Krutoy on the piano. (2019 I think it is. Don’t do the newer version he spoils it for me by ranger his starting register and so doesn’t end up singing my favourite “knee melting” notes)
