Welcome (back)! Hope the ideas in this series are useful and help you all get better. Once again, use the timestamps in the description/video timeline to see every opening played - not every opening gets featured in every video. And again, if you want to support financially, I do sell a full 1. e4 course and others - link in the description. See you in Parts 3 and beyond. Cheers 🍷

Bruh I had this guy do me wrong 3 times in a row. Like I played solid but he always found a way to win more pieces. And he was also fancy with his checkmate like he used some odd pieces. He was definitely a 2000+ messing with people because he had like 100 games and only one loss, and that one loss was due to an internet connection loss because they had only played like two moves.

Something so simple as a video about only playing e4, yet there are no other teaching videos like this. It's actually really helpful, since just this series gives you quite a solid opening repetoir against all the 1. e4 responses.

Well the difference is that he is playing against random online players which helps us see many variation of the repertoire. But other chess teachers just make a move by the themselves. They make moves which are engine perfect. Actual players never make these moves until the grandmaster level. So what he is doing here is actually helpful.

First. I was thinking...it would be cool to get my comment pinned. But in order to do that, I'd have to deliver a scathing insult and mix some stupidity in there too. Hey man, I said this before but have to give another shout out to your generosity in sharing your thoughts and strats while playing. It seems like many GM’s/IM’s either hold back info because they want to “save” all their best knowledge for patreons/students (not realizing that by sharing info, as you do, it makes the viewer appreciate the teacher more and we become more interested in taking lessons) or they want to keep up the belief that to become a GM or IM you have to be a prodigy (which doesn’t hurt) and neglect to teach the viewer the importance of studying patterns, learning end game theory, always scanning for tactical motifs, etc.. Thanks again for all the effort you give and I’m stoked you’re getting the recognition you deserve. Cheers from Atlantic Canada.

@XoIoRouge
@XoIoRouge 3 жыл бұрын
I haven't had either course but as a tutor who puts courses out for Computer Science, I can let you in on a secret: It doesn't matter who you learn it from. If you like the teacher, you'll enjoy their lesson. BUT Who do you want to give money to? That's the question you need to ask. You'll probably enjoy the lesson from either person, but almost all of my students need to be in control of the situation to really learn and learning from online videos doesn't put you in control. That's the big difference between a tutor and a video lesson. If you're paying *Anyone* to give you a hands on (or in today's age, a video call) experience, then I'd definitely suggest that over anything else. But if they're just *Videos*, then it's not really important. You'll listen and watch but won't be "doing" anything. And that doesn't help solidify memory. Thus, If you like the content you've seen so far, from either party, you'll almost certainly enjoy the content that you'll be paying for. The big question is WHO do you want to support?
