Explore Warsaw Poland. In this episode we explore Poland capital city Warsaw. Although it rained for most our time in Warsaw we did our best to see and do some of fun parts of Warsaw. We explored the old time, watched as they prepared for the infamous christmas markets, we visited the Muzeum Świat Iluzji / Museum World of Illusion, we took a trip to observation deck at The Palace of Culture & Science before taking a beautiful cruise along the Vistula River. We braced the rain, and enjoyed Warsaw as much as we could. Warsaw has been our second stop on our travel Poland series so please subscribe as we are travelling through this wonderful country.
We are on the road to 10k subs, help us get us there.

I'm glad you were on our ship. It's nice that I met people full of optimism and good energy. The way you run your blog is a sure path to success. After watching your movie, I decided to go sailing again. As soon as I catch a fish with three eyes, I will let you know immediately. For now, I look at the Mermaid, half fish, half woman. Thank you for the good words. Greetings Andrzej

November and December are literally the worst months to visit Poland, any other month is better, even January when there is snow is somehow more meaningful, than these depressive months with cold rains and winds. Poland has plenty of beautiful flowers everywhere, but you visiting late Autumn, haven`t seen any!

18:30 it is probably because water in Vistula isn't to clean (to say the least), especialy in summer, when you have much more waste from agriculture going down the river. Also, the water is warmer, which makes it easier for algae and bacteria to spread. Great video, hope you come back. Next time consider visiting Poznań, the birthplace of Poland, which isn't the most popular tourist destination, but have a lot of beautiful sights and other atractions to offer (especialy in food and nightlife), making it kinda 'hidden gem'.

It first time when i subscribe without visiting my country:)). Very interesting and unique approach, present the life of the locals as it is.You have a normal calm and curiosity and I love that. You really enjoy life.My name is Marian Roman and I look forward to seeing you in a different country. It will be a big surprise for you. I won't tell you what it is but here the Papanasii are internationally renowned .... aaa, and I promise not to suck your blood :)))Guess what!:)) Ma'am, I'm in love with you. You're full of life, a beauty that humiliates you, and you have such an expansive man by your side. What a beautiful and natural couple. If you come to us and you would be harmed if you do not step on this country you have free accommodation near Bran Castle (another indication).Good luck, patience for progress in this infernal work. You are adorable, you work hard and you are special.

@@GoTimeTravels Controvercial at the very least. Not everyone like the looks, but the biggest issue is the 'fun' fact that it's a gift from Stalin. Not many ppl like to have a gift from a mass murdering maniac, that screwed over their country, in their capital. Still, it is put to some good uses and it would be hugely expensive to demolish, so it's there. I guess the the reception of it will, one day change, to the point where it's just another buliding.

@@GoTimeTravels Many Varsovians did not like this building not only because it was a "gift" from a psychopath and murderer of millions of Poles, but also because in order to erect it, the Soviets deliberately demolished one of the few parts of Warsaw that survived the war, in addition with beautiful, historic houses from the Chmielna shopping street. That is why, in common opinion, Warsaw was destroyed by both Hitler and Stalin. Moreover, Stalin also forbade rebuilding the centre of Warsaw in its entirety, although this was the original plan - and Poles enthusiastically recreated Warsaw street by street (during the war, they managed to save the city archives dating back to the early Middle Ages, as well as technical, photographic, film and even gardening documentation). So there was a chance to regain the city. Stalin simply forced the Poles to cease any further reconstruction and forced (threatening with death and imprisonment) the "working-class, Soviet character of the city centre", with the Palace of Culture and Science planted in the centre of this new district. The whole thing was to be a symbol of breaking the "Poland of capitalists and of course lords". It was a fight with the USSR so that Poland could get out of the old capital (it also required a lot of cleverness and courage on the part of the Committee for the Reconstruction of Warsaw, but we have the Old Town back again:). All this was also the effect of the enormous hatred that Stalin had towards Poland and the Poles, the roots of which go back to 1920. This is the period of the war between Poland and Soviet Russia, which made an invasion of Poland on its way to Germany (where the communist revolution was taking place). The Poles stopped this storm and drove the Reds far east. One of the most unsuccessful and humiliated commanders in the battles with Poles was Stalin. He never forgot this to the Poles. Currently, the attitude of Poles to the Palace of Culture and Science is twofold. Many appreciate its beauty and quality of finish (it does not resemble similar buildings in the USSR - it has strong Polish accents taken from buildings typical of the Polish Renaissance, thanks to Rudniev, the Russian architect who designed it), it also resembles the architecturally successful constructions in the USA. For others, the palace is also simply a witness of an era important in the Polish history and in the history of Europe. So it has a symbolic and historical value. Therefore, most Poles do not demand its destruction, although from time to time someone comes up with such a request. For younger Varsovians, the Palace and its surroundings are a very popular and well-liked meeting place, with pubs, restaurants, concerts, film shows, and even mini-volleyball tournaments.

Andrew was amazing and the museum made me feel sea sick just from watching the video, you guys have such great energy too bad the weather was bad. Since you're still in Poland you should definitely try a dish called "Flaczki" its a hearty stew made from cow stomach usually very spicy served with dark bread great for this kind of weather it will keep you going, i know the cow stomach thing might sound offputting but its really worth trying, after you try it you wont even notice its cow stomach its really good. As to christmas markets they're in every town in Poland and i dont think theres a best one, some are larger some are smaller but theyre all unique in their own way, if they're already up and running once you visit Wrocław, Kraków and Zakopane you guys wont be disapointed in any of them. Stay warm and enjoy the rest of your travels around Poland. PS. Visit "Ostrów Tumski" District in Wrocław its amazing, specially at night
