In this scene you have Marc Lawrence, Anthony Quinn, Richard Sarafian, Dominic Chianese, Armand Assante, and William Forsythe. This group of actors, all well accomplished themselves, have worked in some of the greatest films of all time, worked for some of the greatest directors of all times, and worked alongside just about every great actor who ever worked in films since the 1930's. Can you imagine how lucky Robert Harmon (the director) must feel to be able to shoot a scene with this collection of powerhouses and talents in a TV movie in one of his first directing jobs?

Great movie . Apparently it’s the closest to reality of all the movies about Gotti . Armand Assante was fantastic.

While it is true that Armand Assante was superb, my tastes can't help but defer to Anthony Quinn. Not only for being one of the greatest actors of all time, but clearly his exquisite portrayal as demonstrated in this scene. He gave this film the accurate sense of gravitas that was synonymous with the old guard. Every time I watch his portrayal of Neil... chills! Such natural realism he brought to life!

Here is the thing: both John Gotti and Aniello "Neil" Dellacroce were both of Neapolitan heritage, and Carlo Gambino and Paul Castellano (both cousins and in-laws) were Sicilian. Even though Cosa Nostra was all Italian-American, there was still some rivalry between Sicilians and other Italian groups (Neapolitan, Calabrian, etc). That was a point of friction between Gotti and Castellano because when Carlo died, he named Paul as his successor, passing over Dellacroce. Even though bitterly disappointed, Dellacroce accepted things as it happened. Great scene between Armand Asante, Anthony Quinn, William Forsythe, Marc Lawrence, and Richard C. Sarafian.

Anthony Quinn as Neil Delcroccie, "It doesn't matter what the F*ck I want...", that's the lacosa nostra way.
