You can also do the jump with 36+ tumble and haste. Do a tumble towards the border from a distance, and immediately jump as the animation takes effect. The jump keeps the tumble speed allowing for normally impossible jump distances

My group always groaned about doing Amber Temple because it was so random it scrambled our brains. Somehow I always managed to find the words by wandering around and it never really bothered me that much…

Finding the symbol before finishing the quest grants a large amount of optional XP. I think I saw 40K+ for the optional alone at cap.

IMO - if they had just removed the respawns in the quest it would have solved a lot of the issue for newer players running around lost. The quest wasn't that complicated it just annoyed people to learn it with respawning crap constantly attacking you from stealth. Also a way to disable the main chamber trap thing would have been nice. A small puzzle with 3-4 traps for a trap bonus would have been even better.

Next quest they "fix" you will just enter... pull a lever and quest will be over. here is you exp and reward. Yeah, lets just dumb down every quest to a quick zerg... wtf were devs thinking! Its okay to have a quest or 2 have randomness.
