And yet why would they try to represent you if you don't vote for them? Snake eating head. If you or your generation came out in force in a manner that actually tipped the voting power, you can bet they would take you seriously. Fundamental of engaging in a voting system. It's not going to happen in any other meaningful fashion and this is why you are not going to be a priority in the sense of winning a vote to gain the office. Mandatory voting under the law would be interesting as there is now an entire electorate to capture.

I'm honestly shocked to hear Eva says something so stupid as "what's the point of speaking five languages? So you can [order a beer] in Spanish?" Spoken like a typical monolingual Anglo. I'm disappointed in you. The study of language isn't about ordering drinks in another country. It's about understanding a another culture in a way that transcends sitting in a bar for expats and drinking yourself sick.

I thought Ava’s take was real bad on this. The NFL are not exploiting Taylor Swift as a woman they are exploiting her as a literal billionaire and the most popular person on the planet. You should be able to support your partner and see them live. But you could do that from a private box or you could recognise that you, by nature of being the most popular person on the planet, are naturally going to draw lots of attention, and watch at home if you actually care about what people think

I live in a cold flat that found out there was no insulation between the walls. I've sent 2 years trying to get it installed and now apparently they won't because they will only do it for properties that can have the new electric heaters which my flat can't. I've been freezing with damp in my flat and if starma isn't going to help then I'm seriously considering using my vote on a left wing party even if that means wasting my vote because how can I vote for a party that is against most things I stand for and won't even be helping me. I'm of course not going to vote Tories but I just can't see myself ticking the box for labour without hating myself. Its a horrible sad state of affairs.

I don't understand why the panel didn't touch on Tucker's connection to both Musk and the right wing in America. Elon Musk dropped Internet for Ukrainian troops defending their country in the early war. Tucker is currently Musk's best draw for turning Twitter into a media company. When Putin talked about Musk (which is weird to start with, it would be like talking about Murdoch in the middle of a Fox News interview) he was VERY positive. THAT is how Tucker got the interview. The first election I was eligible to vote for, I voted for Lib Dems as at the time they had a more desirable manifesto than anybody else. Primarily their promise to scrap tuition fees, which led them into their coalition with the conservatives. Unsurprisingly they have been relegated into practical obscurity since their capitulation to the Tories on actually raising the tuition fees. (I live in Bournemouth, and didn't know about their conference here until after it happened.) Since my first election I've predominantly voted labour, but they are making it so difficult to justify doing so for the upcoming election. They are only occuping the alternative most viable option to get the Conservatives out of power rather than giving anything to actually vote for. The complete and utter de Corbynising of labour has stripped it of any soul or credibility in reguards to believing they'll actually do well intentioning things once in power. Corbyn was far from the perfect option, but he atleast seemed to have personal moral stances that looked after 'real' people rather than pandering to hypothetical thinktank focus group stereotypes. After being burned by lib dem I know to take any manifesto promises with a pinch of salt and not to bet on them becoming reality, but i feel Corbyn would have atleast acted in the best interest of the public even if everything didnt come to fruition. And that's what terrified the establishment and media to go on the vilest smear campaign I've seen targeted towards anybody in the public eye.

Sadly the only reason Labour are on the verge of electoral victory is because they have cleared out everything from the Corbyn era. Centrists who usually vote Tory but think they’ve gone too far in trying to pick up UKIP or Reform votes now see Labour as the safe centrist vote that are unlikely to change very much which suits them they don’t want societal change that Corbyn offered they just want business as usual.

Its just exploitative to someone who happens to be a woman highly associated with sexism due to her early career. Taylor quite literally dedicated her life to be uber famous and clearly thinks she is so important she can fly for 15 minutes across a city on a private jet. She chose a lifestyle of insane exposure, this is the price you pay, you do not get peace and quiet if you go to a football game. I guarantee that Swift wasn't on that 13 minute flight. My experience of the air industry says that was a positioning flight - the aircraft was in the wrong place, and needed to be somewhere else - it's usually because of contracts around fuel, crew, maintenance, etc. That kind of thing happens _all_ of the time, less for large airliners because they're scheduled by Ops as far as possible in advance, but much... much more for smaller/private/charter jets.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the show, but it's quite pathetic to dedicate half the show to the superbowl and taylor swift but not even give the ongoing genocide in palestine a single sentence. One of the most important political and humanitarian disasters of the 21st century so far and you won't even mention it. Get a grip honestly.

Here's an idea for the 'Ultimate Boys Podcast': Six Degrees of the Roman Empire. Each episode you take a topic and try to connect it to the Roman Empire in as few steps as possible or the most interesting way possible.

Between tour dates isn't acceptable either; they can be planned so that you have shorter trips on that thing musicians have been using for decades a tour bus.

Tackling rules in rugby are way more restrictive and have a lot of safety built into it... American football is very, very different and way more dangerous (the pads just help you hit harder for the most part)

Better to be upfront, honest and dynamic than to behave like a Tory i.e. try to lie, cheat and decive ones way to power only to admit ones folly when power has been seized 😮😮😮

As someone who speaks six languages fairly well, I can honestly tell you in plain English, Ava, that the statement about speaking 5 languages was the dumbest thing you’ve ever uttered. As much as I enjoy the podcasts, sometimes there is no need to talk just to say stuff
