I'm wondering if you can voice (a l e x a) control the ring separately from the down/direct light portion. Aside from this quandry, Thanks for making these videos to give some insight into this new (new to me anyway) Govee Ceiling Light.! Thank you.!

Great Question! From what i understand kinda? But i need to double check, You cant ask it directly. However i believe you can make a preset, name the preset then ask for that preset? However im doubting this?

Great request!!!! At the moment I don’t have that product! (And don’t need to spend money right now 😅) However, I’m getting a new Govee product sent to me soon! As well as an older one! I would love to get the strip soon!

@@joepoblete4263 great question! To be honest I haven’t seen a hard date. However the last 5 days they’ve had a preorder event with 35% off on the Govee app. So I imagine in a months time

great review! Can you give us the dimensions of the light?

Great question! The whole light itself is about 12 inches. However the hole Cutout for the light that you need is only about 5inches (give or take) can’t find any hard divisions on that part (if my part one video you’ll get a little bit of a better idea)

Gotta ask, is it bright on static colors like blue? I reworked my room with govee lamps & my old corner lamp made it so that i had a blue shade over my room =) I hope i can achieve it with this :D

Great question!!! Yes it gets pretty bright!!!! I also have the floor lamp in the corner of my room, I’ll admit I personally prefer the floor lamp light effect on walls more than this. But if you’re trying to fill in the puzzle piece of my lights, this is perfect for that!!

Great question! To be honest I haven’t tested that because it’s not near my tv setup. Pretty sure it does, but would need to test.

@@coppercarver are you sure? can you check for us perhaps as you have it? Theres no mention of it on the website and as an important sales feature you'd have thought it would be front and centre. Its very odd if it isnt as most things are nowadays - new things at least, and its not as if Govee havent made other devices Matter...... its highly conspicuous in its non matter support and a deal breaker for me as I want anything I buy going forward to be compatible with my Apple Home App,
