The Government must mind it's business as far as private medical aids are concerned and concentrate on the disgusting state of Government hospitals, filthy, no medications, nurses who disrespect patients, shortage of doctors. Before 1994 Baragwanath hospital was the best training hospital in the world. Don't blame the private hospitals for the failure of the Government. In 1998 I was involved in an accident and was taken to the closest hospital, the local Government hospital, I received fantastic treatment. Now, in the same town, I will choose to die before I go anywhere near the filthy hovel that is that same hospital. This NHI is just another gravy train, another way to loot.

It’s MADNESS utter madness! People are going to pay for private healthcare anyway!

NHI will only worsen people's quality of life, especially those of the workers, and it will give the taxpayer not what s/he deserves. Government, start taking care of your taxpayers.
