In April 1984, it took only two weeks to bank, and exchange the old Naira, and we had fewer banks then, some LGA had one or no banks. It was a smooth sail, without riots, demonstrations, no court actions. The reason was that the rouge politicians were all on the run then, talk less organizing some misguided ones to riot. This time people had between October and January (100 days) to bank all their old currencies. I bet, anybody with genuine and hard-earned money has deposited in the bank since the last 100 days deadline. Rouge and vote-buying politicians' are the worst hit, but they are using the poor masses as a cover. All of us are not fools. I weep for this country. BTW which Supreme Kangaroo is that confused Wike talking about. Has Wike obeyed any court orders as a governor?

Don't you know that as at 15th of January, 2023 most ATM are still paying old notes. Today, people queue for 5 hours before being paid between 1K - 5K as against 20K the CBN promised Nigerian.

@@sundaykenneth2652 You did not dispute what I said, the people with genuine money acquired legitimately have deposited all in the banks in the last 100+ days. Those crying and inciting riots, and protests now are rogue politicians and their associates who cannot buy votes with old Naira currency.

Why is Governor Wike not speaking about APC Government disobeying the Court order to Release Nnamdi Kanu ? Is obvious but when people speak about equity let it not be Based on your personal interest because I am very sure if it’s for equity, he will come out openly and make the endorsement one of the candidates from South East. No doubt you are doing a good work in River states but that does not mean , Things are fine in Nigerian. We can only appreciate you to the end only when you are through to yourself.
