game one when michael played the explosives, couldn't he just instead of playing khalni garden, play a bounce land, bounce the simic growth chamber and crack the EE to destroy death's shadow?
@cloudscraper3 жыл бұрын
yes, and that's not a hard line given the matchup. He would have lost his amulet and get sent back on land drop, but the chance for him of dying was high. And in this matchup you only lose to TBR anyway

Sorry but i do not think you can compare poker to mtg. And while its quite possible to determine the exact win conditions in poker when you know all the cards, it is pretty much not impossible to determine the objective exact win conditions in mtg especially as a player.(And that is not taking into accojnt the individual ppayer behavior that might shift win chances to a certain extent). What should a player base his win chances while playing the game on. On the hand he is playing with atm? At tne possible cards he could draw. On thee possible cards his opponent has in hand. On the possible cards his opponent could draw. On the combination of all of it? Because maybe because an opponent does not do a certain aczion you might think he does not have a certain card in hand. But again maybe that is just personal preference and the player actually has the card but rather hold onto it. In my opinion it is impossible for a player to determine exact win chances on certain plays in mtg.

Definitely should've used stubborn denial on the titan in game 2

You are absolutely correct, I honestly didn't know
@DreadGroove5 жыл бұрын
@@Trolologram don't worry i remember doing that in a standard tournament not knowing the same. Both me and my opponent didn't catch it and I only realised until much much later haha.

@@DreadGroove He still should have used it on the pact so he couldn't cast titan that turn or the following turn
@concept10275 жыл бұрын
Yeah not using it on the pact was such a huge mistake. Especially considering he conceded after primetime came down. Like.. you know you’re dead to a resolved Titan and you have the means to delay it for a couple turns..but you don’t use it??
