As said in the title, this might help you resolve thermal throttling on your laptop

Thanks! The one thing you didn't mention that a noob like me got stuck on for a bit, is that you might have to select your 3050 on the main screen of afterburner - my sliders were locked out, and it was because my ryzen apu was selected, not the 3050.

@@elmo11080 No worries, and thank you! Just got chance to try out the results on my 2022 A17 today, and wattage went from 83W to ~50W on ride 3 using same settings as you! Less than 5fps difference - totally transformed this laptop. Awesome.

Hey, thanks for your comment. You can always try and play around. Even if we have the same graphic card we will not get the same results.

Yo, did you OC to 1830mhz ? Mine is at 1500mhz, im almost at 60fps on cyberpunk , i would love having less temps and more frequencies

It was not OC'ed but less heat can help you with boost clocks definitely

Do i need avr to undervolt? since our town has bad electricity sometimes the electricity are low and sometimes high, in short its fluctuating, does it affect the undervolting if the electricity goes up or down? thanks

That would really depend on your PSU. I would advise however regardless to get voltage regulator as it is not good for your system to have unregulated voltage.

if you set the voltage to less than 900, heavy games will crash

Well, undervolting a cpu has become a lot harder in recent years. What is your cpu? Also, 95 degrees should not really be happening unless you do some hardcore stress tests on your cpu. Are you using a laptop or desktop?

@@elmo11080 I have the same Laptop asus tuf dash f15 (i5 12 and rtx 3050 4gb vram, 16gb ram). the cpu is I5 12450H, when i play apex or gta 5 the temps goes suddenly to 90+ and gpu temps goes to max 80.

@dhruv9935 Look, laptops generally run hot but I would not be too comfortable with CPU sitting at 95C. Did you check if your fans are working properly? Is your laptop elevated to ensure proper airflow? Also, undervolt your GPU as per the video, it will also help with CPU temps
