Tenacious d was the first and only band I pretended to know when I didn't. I was in year 8 and someone asked me. I was like yeah course.....I then went and got there album. Loved it. Brilliant.

If the don't remember they don't remember so facts like where it happened would be messed up. But also they say they played the best song in the world in Pick of destiny but neither could remember the song so they used the bong of destiny to write something new. It's never stated but I imagine that this is a joke/hint that that song would become tribute as this encompasses many aspects of the actual thing but very mixed up which is what happens if you try to recall something you forgot.

@@MrParkerman6 At the end of the movie, after the showdown, they sit down and try to record the song they played for the Devil but none of them remember how the song went, so they start writing something else. That's why Tribute is similar in many things but its not quite it, it's meant to a tribute to Beelzeboss but they dont recall how it went. EDIT: forgot to mention that Jack actually says "It was like the best song in the world" when trying to remember Beelzeboss lol
