4342 WN052224 Things We Believe And Things We Do Not Believe, Part 2 - Tongues, Faith Healing, Etc.
A study of NT Greek and OT Hebrew, customs and culture of Israel, Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome, the pagan origins of the Christmass and other "holydays / holidays", all for the purpose of understanding what the bible meant when it was originally spoken/written as opposed to what modern "preachers" and "christians" "think" it says; i.e. NO OPINIONS
#predestination #prophecy #faith #biblestudy #endtimes
God Has Chosen
Romans 8:29-30 - "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified."
Foreknow - to have a personal intimate relationship beforehand.
God predetermined that all who belonged to him before the foundation of the world were to "conform" to the word of God in obedience to Christ.
All that were predestined were "called", "justified", and "glorified" (past tense verbs). These were fixed in the mind of God before the world began. (Ephesians 1:4; Acts 13:48; II Thessalonians 2:13). The election of the saints is unto accountability (I Peter 1:2).
The majority of the Protestant Church held to this doctrine during the Reformation. It is the foundation of "The London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689". You Baptists are supposed to be believing it and you've discarded this precious doctrine of Grace!

Thank you for this sermon Jim. I've been struggling with the concept of presumptuous sin for several months. I couldn't comprehend why believers are held accountable for presumptuous sin. Since God ordains everything. I now realize God ordains believers to sin so He can scourge us and cause is to turn away from sin.

Thanks G&T team, and all who support. Much love, respect and admiration to those who do not call God a liar. John 1:13 “Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” Romans 9:16 “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.” John 6:44 “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw (helko[G]; drag) him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Isaiah 40:28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure. Psalm 40:5 You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told. Psalm 36:7 How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings. Psalm 86:5 For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you. Psalm 145:8-9 The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him. Lamentations 3:25 The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. Micah 7:7-8 I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me. Isaiah 45:22 Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.

Ephesians 6:8 whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a bondservant or is free. Matthew 16:27 For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. 2 Corinthians 5:10 we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:14 God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil. Matthew 12:36 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. Revelation 11:18 The nations raged, but your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, and for rewarding your servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth. Revelation 22:12 Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.

Hi Do you have any teachings on James 2? Particularly James 2:14-26. I've read this passage multiple times and came to the conclusion that it was about a profitable faith put into action by believers But when I read "What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? It's as if James is implying that faith is not enough for salvation but also works? It's as if James is teaching a works based gospel which is completely contrary to faith alone gospel that Paul taught. I really want to understand this chapter more.

www.youtube.com/@GraceTruthMinistries/search?query=pro Romans 8:28-39 (KJV) 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 9:1-23 (KJV) 1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, 2 That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. 3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: 4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; 5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. 6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. 9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son. 10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; 11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) 12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. 13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. 17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. 18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. 19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? 20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? 21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

Romans 8:29 29 For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. So if you say that Predestination is from Hell, why was it put in the Holy Bible? Be careful what you claim, God doesn't make mistakes. Obviously you are not of Him for you go against Him and His word.
