She'd been on like five episodes of Mr. Robot before I heard someone say that and I was like HOLY SHIT. Honestly her presence on the show upped their game to be one of my favorite shows of all time. There's something about her that's intriguing and mutedly incredible. She really compliments the rest of the cast.

I was just thinking that there's something about her that I like, but didn't have a clue who she was, but when they said that it made complete sense. I've always liked Meryl. I see it completely now--her personality, looks, & her voice even are like her mom.

I would imagine it could be somewhat intimidating having Meryl Streep as your mama if you want to be actress. People might tend to compare the two. But she's really very good in her own right.

She was in The Newsroom, and there were times the resemblance was absolutely eerie. It can't be easy to follow in her mom's footsteps, and she's not cashing in on the fame, or trying to act like her mother, but sometimes the genes just win. :O)

I like her sense of humor, she has that type of humor in which she just says the last thing you would expect and she doesnt give a damn if people get offended or not. The lead in conversation about Thanksgiving where Stephen says, its a great time to get together with people you dont get to see.... or like! that was a great add in by her. And most people would try to avoid saying it, but she actually goes for it. Its a distinct sense of humor and it takes some getting used to.

Weirdly, watched all 3 seasons of The Newsroom AND watched her in Hot Zone. It took me REWATCHING The Newsroom for the upteenth time for my mum to be like "that's Meryl Streep's daughter". Completely didn't notice. Now I realise they look SO alike it's unreal.
