Our little guy developed diabetes at 8 and went blind shortly after. After a year and a half we were able to get double cataract surgery for him and now he's a lively, crazy dog again. We missed seeing his button eyes but now they're clear and bright instead of blank white dots. He's such a trooper!! Gotta love those Schnauzers!

I love the way Gracie pauses for a second, every now and then, to see if the owner "gets it", then continues with further clarification "num, num, num". Smart doggie.

Your Schnauzer is a clone of my Wyatt, who died 2 years ago at 14. He too could speak, and knew all of his toys. His expressions were the same as your Gracie's. Thanks for sharing. It brings back wonderful memories.

i grew up with Schnauzers as family pets and i recently got my very own a year and a half ago, very abnormal from all the others the family has owned though hes very very quiet never really barked or growled even for about a year and is still very quiet. best tempered dog i have ever seen too, friendly and fantastic with kids has never bit or nipped but still very protective only barks at "intruders" (visitors) when the doorbell rings

They are precious dogs I had one since he was a pup I named him Frankie he's gone now but never forgotten wonderful fun sweet dog. I also had a schnauzer mix with poodle a schnoodle since a pup named him Braveheart, smart as a whip he was both gone over rainbow bridge sadly.
