I love Rener's enthusiasm. If you watch many videos with him in them, you will notice that has gets really excited about what most would deem mundane. I appreciate how he enjoys all things. If you are not excited about something, find something.

Rener's video's show his personality as being a funny, sarcastic but down to earth guy. I met him at a seminar at the martial arts academy I train at last year. He really is an awesome guy, after the seminar, all of us that train at that school, the instructor and Rener went out to eat, it was pretty awesome.

This information is absolutely mind blowing. No joke. I thought all along the crazy tying on one side is the proper way all along! It's not until this day, watching this very video that I learn the proper way to tie the pants. And count it, 3 different techniques to get the rope in the right position. Thank you Master Rener!

That last secret technique was my very 1st thought of how to fix it. You were talking about wire hangers and safety pins and I'm like no just pull the good string out farther, tie the bad end to it and pull it through. As I was typing I saw you finally did that at the end.
@Native_love15 жыл бұрын

Rener, if you every decide to leave GJJ, you can always get a career in infomercials. "We have a wire hanger. Literally a wire hanger. Open it up and straighten it out and look what we got, a wire hanger." LMAO This is so fricking insightful I can't believe it! All jokes aside. Your excitment is enviable. Mahalo for that.

Renner seems like the kind of guy that would have a hard time disciplining people on the mat because he's so nice. He's like a big kid, the kind of guy that just wants to make BJJ fun and hang out with his buds on the mat. I'd love to train with this guy. And his verbal eloquence in teaching is unequaled.

i give props to Rorion's sons. They seem very well adjusted and friendly compared to other people with comparable skills. Being a blackbelt at a young age can easily turn a young man into a trouble-seeking individual, but Rener, Ryron and Ralek seem really cool. (At least from watching their videos, I don't know them.)

@MrPotatoesLatkie14 жыл бұрын
What do people normally do? We'll, if you fix things and, like tools, you know about the flexible grabbing tool. I always take out the strings before I wash and, the tool makes it easy to pull those strings through. Originally, I used a wire hanger, but when I saw my grabbing tool, epiphany! I've never had any problem with the strings catching on each other since I've been doing this.

Would my gi shrink if i put it in the dryer after washing.
@strumminronin7 жыл бұрын
Popo Sensei There is a good chance, but not necessarily. But the heat may damage the rubber/foam in the collar, and reduce the over all life of the gi.

U are hilarious.Im a...gosh i hate to say it..40 years old woman.My sons do judo.I decided to join as well.For a reason that is to complex to explain but lets keep it short..im fighting for my freedom..Anyway..being girly-ish i wanted a white and pink gi.So i ordered one.Normally i wear the kids sizes because im small and they have elastic wastes.But with this gi it had rope.Big shock.And i made the classic mistake.These pants are huggggeeeeee omg whyyyyy.So i looked up some help and i found your videos.Ok im doing judo and u do Ji. But rope pants are rope pants so i proceeded watching and not only are your videos extremely helpful.They are also freaking hilarious.U have a major talent for comedy.Thank you for sharing and u rock!
@lvecsey15 жыл бұрын
thats very cool using the knot to make a pull line. maybe there is a way to make very flat knot so it slips through easy and is easy to undo. each time i wash my gi I pull out that string so the pants can tumble better for a deeper clean. with practice it just takes me a few minutes to feed it back through before I head to class. use a pen and two short pieces of tape (one for each flat side) and a third shorter tape looping around to bind the circumference. feed the pen through, done deal
