How to rebuild a Graco T1 transfer pump. This video will show you how to take apart the pump and the seals that need to be replaced. It will show you how to take apart the air motor and clean out the lower sections of the pump.

Thanks for the video. Towards the middle when you crack loose the bottom piece of the pump with two pipe wrenches, how likely is it to crimp the pipe that slides over the rod? I believe we somehow managed to do this to the smallest degree because now our plastic seals on the bottom of the rod stop about halfway down, near markings from the pipe wrench that are on the pipe. Sorry for the run-on sentence, just trying to fully diagnose this issue we are facing. Thanks!

It is easy. Check for material build up in the tubes. That will prevent the plastic seals from sliding all the way up. Thanks for watching, check my other videos if you like cars.

@@therealboofighter oh for sure, it is confirmed that all cylinders are clear of debris. With brand new seals, super tough for the rod to slide through to the bottom. Getting it honed out a mm to hopefully correct the issue w/o letting any extra air pressure through. I will check out your other videos

You shouldn’t need to get the tubes honed. The new seals will be tight. They might be in backwards though.

@@therealboofighter hmm...i mean the seals are definitely on preperly. Too faces up and vice versa. Followed the rebuild diagram and all. Ill report back tomorrow if you're curious once i know for sure what the issue wound up being

Just rebuilt my pump, but it is still shooting air out Of the holes right underneath where you connect the air line. The multiple holes that go around the shaft. Is this normal? Or do i have a air leak somewhere else? My other pump that i use for my b side chemical does not blow air like that.

I would think that you missed an o ring or have not tightened something in the air motor.

Hi would this pump work for waste oil or would that cause too much damage?

I am not sure. I think it would depend on the viscosity of the oil. One of materials that I pump with it is quite thick and harsh.

I rebuilt my T1 graco pneumatic transfer pump with new bushings and O rings, everything put in right places but the pump won't work, I noticed it got compression in the air motor and still not moving, neither not air leaking, anyone can help me with this issue?
