I think the Marcus Smart trade was great. The misfortune that came last season has nothing to do with it. Literally, everyone got hurt, including Smart, so there wasn't much anyone could do. We flipped two midly valuable picks and an expiring contract in Tyus to a really good player and great locker room presence. We do need to see how it's gonna work out next season before grading it, imo.

@@LUC4Z3 Yeah that’s probably fair. I guess in the video context of grading it for this season it’s fair but it’s definitely important to note that the story isn’t finished.

I knew the Suns/Bucks were bad trades. Suns should've kept Paul, but traded Ayton for Turner and added depth. Bucks needed a defensive guy to pair with Dame. I thought thought would go after Paul, Murray or Smart. They definitely need to make more moves to make it all gel. I knew once Celtics had Jrue it was over, especially adding KP. I don’t like the Celtics, but their issue has been a playmaker. Smart isn't a PG, Kyrie isn't a playmaker, Malcom was decent, but not what they needed for a championship team.

@@_AVC_ I hate to say it, but Celtics are about to be a dynasty. They will be in the finals for years to come. I thought them and Denver were choke artists (pretenders) until they won it all. This Celtics team is different. It's not just the talent, but them taking advantage of their window. Denver is overhyped because of Joker and their window is closing.

Definitely a dry part of the offseason but summer league is soon, just curious will you do content about that? dame to bucks was crazy to me. But what I remember reading is the numbers werent great for the dame giannis PnR which confused me. But since its a playoff move I cant grade it given the injuries

@@_AVC_ Niiice, the only thing I can think of for summer league is looking at some standouts and how they might do in the nba. Since realistically the winning or losing part doesnt mean much

@@TastyisTaken Very cool! I mean just learn basic excel haha. I just watched KZfaq on vids on it. Vlookup, sumif, data validation, etc.

Pacers again getting zero respect. Pascal Siakam on the Pacers, A minus - didn’t talk about it. Everybody skimpin on the Hoosier state yet we made it to the Eastern conference finals. 🎉

@@_AVC_ True...It was a midseason trade, not an offseason. I thought you said at the end let you know - you do say about minor moves - and meant off season. Well I think you would need to include a more complete review of off season and mid season instead of reading an article and giving it your own grades. I get saving time...but more personal effort to review what made the 2023-24 year in terms of moves and the Pacers and Pascal was certainly a bigger one that moved the needle. So a little effort to tidy up the season moves and your background wouldn't hurt is all I am saying. I am sure you are working hard on it all and look forward to it.
