No, That is absurd. I don't care what it is, It is unjust & cruel to commit acts of violence unto those who are not violent. People can & are welcome to quack their pork absolutely anywhere & I will defend & support it. It doesn't cause anyone any harm!! what the problem is, is that it gives people an excuse to become a 'hard ass' & get all excited to teach lessons. The ones who need to learn a lesson are anyone who decides to complain or request for the one masterbating to stop. Those people need to learn that you can do absolutely anything you want besides yelling & telling them to stop/ committing violence or force/phoning police to have them come & make them stop. It's like SO simple & the options are limitless. You can look at your feet, you can look at the ceiling, the sky, your phone, the area of space right next to the person masterbating, behind you, above them, below them, you can walk away. You can even go over to them & be like "lemme try" & then grab hold of their willy & start yankin' on it for a second & then hand it back to them & say "as you were, thank you" I mean, This world is so god damn twisted & evil & desperate to teach lessons to people & punish them, make them take the long or uncomfortable route, its pathetic!!

To my knowledge, the penalty for masturbating in public is not to be beaten, stabbed to death and buried in a hidden grave deep in the forest. Whilst the victim was a truly despicable person, he did not deserve that fate, arrested, charged and jailed, yes, murdered, no! Even despicable people have the right to life. The Police treated the victim with far more dignity and respect than he ever had for himself! Irrespective of his social status, the victim was accorded the best care and standard of investigation as would any person. That is really quite a rarity. That the Police actually delivered food supplies to the people in the homeless camp is to be commended.

That being said, Judd, you blow my mind. I truly appreciate you and everything you do. I appreciate the way you hold fellow officers to the same standards you hold civilians to. I appreciate the way you value human life. Informing the public without bias is a very important job - and one that is rarely done well. You are exactly the type of person who should be doing this work and I hope you can influence others to get into this industry for the right reasons. And encourage those who are currently in the field to continue the good fight. ❤ Thank you for caring for the homeless population. Our local law enforcement could not care less about the less fortunate and it makes all the difference. You are absolutely right - us government employees do not get to make value judgments. I help convicted murderers the same way I would help the pope. Civilians can judge all they want, and we can judge all the want when we clock out, but we have to do our jobs regardless.

Not defending the suspect, but if you've ever been subject to a chronic, public masturbator, it's not just a guy jerking in public. He has a target. It's typically females and it's a sexual offense. The so called victim has untold numbers of victims who will sleep better now, and it's likely that he had done far worse to other homeless people, which has never been told. I know law enforcement has a job to do, but I'd rather have the suspect as a neighbor than the "victim".

Insurance pays for very limited psychiatric coverage, then most people can't afford to continue with treatment, let alone for long term commitment. Funding for public psychiatric hospitals was stopped by President Ronald Reagan in about 1980, people who needed help were then left to their own devices. He first tried to do that earlier when he was governor of California. Private facilities were slow to start up, and were too expensive for people to make use of. Mentally ill people started roaming the streets, criminally insane were put in prison. I agree psychiatric treatment should be available for everyone, but I think it should be provided again at no cost, at public hospitals and doctor's offices, and only at private ones if the government also covers the cost.

Sounds like a repeat sexual offender got what was coming. Hopefully the jury is informed about jury nullification.

Shouldn't charge him with murder. He did the right thing. This so called victim could have done much worse had he still been alive.

I like listening to this guy report incidents. He takes his time to explain so people can understand without having closed captions or interpreter. I admire his honesty and concern for others. Bless Grady Judd.

I said it once and I'm going to say it again, this is the best sheriff in America. Hell he is my hero, I put him up there with Superman, Batman, and iron Man. I know these are comic books heroes, but really all serious this sheriff is the real deal.

The amount of sordid crimes that go on in Polk County is staggering. I honor Sheriff Judd and his staff immensely. Every day is stunning to see the horrific crime in that area. Of course it is everywhere, but Sheriff Judd will never let up exposing this horrific crap that goes on. I pray this worthles human being rots in prison.
