I agree with everything you said. David Murray is the reason Rangers went into administration then liquidation. The day he bought Rangers he borrowed the £6m purchase price from the bank and from having no debt Rangers now owed £6m to the bank. David Murray bankrolled nothing he just accumulated more debt and at one point we were something like £89m in debt a completely ridiculous amount for a Scottish club. In the early 2000's Rangers pools legend Hugh Adam retired and called out Murray for running Rangers into the ground and i then realised David Murray wasn't good for us and knew problems would arise in the future. I criticised him 24/7 me and Gerry McNee in the News Of The World and my pals would say 'you sound like a Celtic supporter" when in reality i was worried about the future of Rangers while they like 95% of Rangers fans were in the 'we dare not criticise Rangers club' 9 in a row was brilliant, we had some cracking players who won all our trophies legitimately by being better than Celtic in the league and cups and whatever other shite we were playing in cup finals. It would have been better if we didn't win nine in a row and didn't go into liquidation instead because our proud club will unfortunately forever have 'our darkest hour' etched into our history. Murray borrowed money from the bank to spend on a formula 4 racing team, a basketball team called Linpride Rangers, a tie up with a Chinese and an Australian football club which Rangers unearthed zero players from. I heard fans make excuses and say but the money was for our assault on the champions league and i laughed as we were buying back Dave McPherson from Hearts and others like Gary Bollan and Stephen Wright FFS! Apart from the inaugural champions league under Walter Smith and later our run to the UEFA cup final and then Dick Advocaat's team, we were repeatedly humiliated in europe by lesser clubs. We are playing some pretty good stuff in europe under Gerrard these days, hopefully Malmö first leg was just a blip and we rectify this at Ibrox.This is for the younger supporter who may not know about these things but I know you get it because you called David Murray a prick. He ran us into the ground, sold us to a crook for a pound then ran away. I still have my old Rangers videos were Murray is saying that he is just the custodian, the fans are the real owners and if anything ever happened to his business interests he would make sure Rangers would be safe. Dirty lying bastard.
