PSA: Hurricane is considered a Wind Move, hence why it activated Wind Power on Kilowattrel. This means that Brambleghast is actually immune to it, and receives a +1 Atk if you use it on him.

In hindsight I think he felt bad for the swag miss and used infestation to give you a chance 😅

Fun fact about the match: If you landed the hurricane on brambleghast, it would've done no damage and instead boosted his attack stat because of wind rider since hurricane is a wind attack. So actually lucky you didn't hit him xD

I feel like pokemon showdown kind of caters us by showing the boosts, items (and when they get knocked off), and movesets that when you go to Wi-Fi battle, it's so easy to forget what you're up against. Knock off would have most definitely KOd Ortho. Your opponent had you in the beginning, but once you took down Wish Zapdos, I think you could have gotten by. Great battle :) Hope we can battle one day
