Thank you very much for this detailed video. After watching this I have been successful in grafting my seedling. It is three weeks now and the scion is green and sprouting new leaves.

It's so much easier and less work when you plant your seed directly into the pot. You don't have to mess with it and just graft right into it. Also, wash your hands before shaving the scion wood so you don't contaminate it too much. Your hands are really dirty after playing with the soil.

I have make a graft with very young brank and super young scions to, all a good like graft tomato. And I think it will good if I graft when stock is young . Young brank = young stock.

You can, but this not good way to test fruit from 5 year old tree. You should make a thin girdle on a branch of tree. So you can get fruit soon.

Keep it in your nursery first, and tranplant to orchard when it above 1/2 meter

Just chip in to answer this - yes you can, it is called multi-grafted fruit tree. I've seen videos about it on YT!

it will have first bearing after 24 month. If you grow Lamb Hass avocado it can be bearing after 18 month.

You should find scion from other place. Graft can done with scion collect and save for a week.

Depends on take care and trim . It take 18 to 25 month to first bearing.

About time to graft, dont graft in the time the weather too hot or too cold. The keys to make a successful graft is Right Scion and Good Grafting technique. And the time is not very importance but, it also affect to graft result.

I just grafted my avocado today, i notice that you remove the top part of the scion, why? Also my scion is about 5 or 6 inches long and root stock is about 10 inches. Should i make short or small? Also, why do u need to cover with plastic after u graft? How often do u water it n when do u remove the plastic cover not the parafilm. Thanks

You should use 2 or 3 inches long scion for best result. top part of scion dont necessary to remove but if you remove scion will grow faster

you can buy graft tape in any agriculture store. or you can reuse a plastic bag to make it become graft tape.

Plastic bag can be remove after scion grow. May be 40-50 day to remove plastic bag.
