I don't know when you served (thank you btw) and forgive my ignorance, but didn't the F-22 have problems with the pilots getting oxygen to the cockpit? And if so, how was that fixed if it was fixed at all? Hopefully, it aint confidential to answer. Assuming that you were around during the commissioning of this aircraft.

@@Gray-soul_81 I believe that was a problem with the G-suit, the lower panels were not inflating properly to guard the lower extremities, thus, causing grey outs and loss of control of the aircraft.

Let's be honest, the US military leads the world in innovation. All of China's "fifth gen" aircraft are just copies of the shell of American planes. Their technology is nowhere near on the same level as us, but if they put a body kit on their aircraft to make it look like ours, they get to tell everyone it's new and convince them the money didn't just go into the pockets of their officials.

For the military security, they don't joke around about it. A story from a family member, before going to a certain area that was marked top secret you would first remove all electronics like phones or anything. He knew a guy that forgot that he was still wearing a fitbit watch and walked into the secure area. Immediately got tackled and removed from the area. Lost his security clearance and effectively ended his military career right there. If you have a high security clearance then you make sure you don't say anything because it can be years in prison if you do.

That Chinese fighter is so bad, state controlled media even made fun of it in China. It's so under powered they can't put the full munitions on it, or it would not even get off the ground. You ask how can they maneuver like that. They don't actually, they simply move the stick and foot pedals in a way that indicates to the fly-by-wire system what it is they want the plane to do. The fly-by-wire computing system then tells which control surface to do what to give the pilot what he wants. The pilot is not directly connected to or in direct control of the flight surfaces, the computer takes the pilots input then the computer controls the aircraft.

F-22 is just popular air show stuff and old technology. Please remember the US has about 7 highly classified "black project" fighters and bombers including the TR-3B which reduces gravity by 85% like a UFO. They have high energy lasers which can vaporize small buildings and most vehicles. Those are the black triangles with bright lights in each corner seen all over the world. They just admitted the SR-72 Darkstar is real after it being seen for half a decade if not more. The NGAD (F-24?) is already flying and it makes the F-22 look like the Red Baron in WWI. It comes with at least 4 drone "wingmen" which had their own bombs and missiles. These wingmen drones have worldclass "decoy technology" meaning they can simulate the radar signature of most of the world's jets and missiles. Famous last words: "that just one of our jets...the radar says so".

As a former single engine propeller pilot, I'm no expert on jets. But to answer the young lady's question about do the pilot's do anything special? The answer is yes, the pilot wears a special suit called a G-suit. That uses air bladders to inflate from the ankles up to squeeze the blood out from the legs 🦵 to keep it in the upper body. It's done in an effort to keep the pilot from blacking out and going unconscious. But this alone isn't enough due to the G's, these pilot's put their body's through, so it has a special name that fails me currently. But it's where you take a big breath hold it, them squeeze everything in your core till it feels like your eye's will pop out! And these guys do a lot of sit-ups!!!!..lol...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 👋🤠

Disorientation and nausea aren’t the things to worry about. G’s are the thing. Watch regular ppl take rides with the Blue Angels. There’s lots of videos on YT. Most untrained ppl can’t pull over 7 g’s. Watch them go unconscious for a few seconds, then come back and tell the pilot the6 had a long dream. Consider that a 7 g turn means you weigh 7 times your normal weight during the turn and all your blood tries to pool in your feet…in seconds. It’s interesting.

They didn't stop production because of the cost. There just wasn't a major power left to fight. The USSR was gone, and not enough planners saw China as a potential threat. The F-22 was a plane without a mission for almost two decades, and only now is the world starting to catch up.
@DerrelliThePyro
@DerrelliThePyro 28 күн бұрын
And it was because they cut the order that the airplane became that expensive. The more planes that are produced, the cheaper each airframe ends up being. Problems and delays experienced at the start of a production run are ironed out over time, and typically it becomes quicker and cheaper than anticipated to build the last quarter or so of the production run as a result. This is also evidenced by the B2. That aircraft was originally slated to cost $480 million each, at 132 airframes. They ended up cutting the requisition down to twenty, at $2.2 billion each....

19 G’s….You’re both asleep. I don’t think you’d stay awake at 10 G’s 😂 You can watch civilians and celebrities ride along in other jets…..They puke or pass out.

Here in Minnesota state fair it’s bacon on a stick and funnel cake and Martha’s cookies and the Norwegian waffles and I love the huge pickle on a stick and pastrami rolls which has dill pickles and cream cheese rolled in it. The walleye is good too.
