This is a lap guide for the Road Atlanta - Red Bull x2019 Competition Lap Time challenge in Gran Turismo 7. This guide aims to help you get close or reach the gold tier time to get 2 million credits when the two-week event ends.

Wheel base is Fanatec CSL Elite+, pedals are CSL Elite w/ load cell brake pedal, wheel is Clubsport F1 eSports.

DRI - -05
FEI - 50
FOR - 90
SPR - 70
DPR - 80
BLI - OFF
SHO - 70
BRF - 50 (If you have the Load Cell Brake pedals)

I got gold last night at 1:00.259. The next day... The top 1 kept changing and I was demoted to silver again. Ughhhh HAHAHAHA Anyway, thanks a lot! Your guides are really helpful. I'm trying my best since this will be the last time I can attempt getting gold. Those 1st place records are insane! I'm particularly having a hard time tackling the consecutive 90 degree turns before the long straight wherein I feel like I'm losing lots of time.

I would like to thank for all the guides for you Mistah. And thank to that lovely guy who broke the record again after i barely got gold. Ruining my 12 in a row gold streak... After 2500km in this event, still 0.012 to gain but its not gonna happen. Pretty frustrating.

New to your channel, Greta videos you're putting out! I'm trying to get much better at GT7 time trial etc, and would really appreciate if you could share your assist settings? (I assume ABS Default and everything else off?)

Thank you! :] For assist settings, I generally have ABS on default, and everything else off. There are rare occasions where some of the assists come into good use. In the recent Escudo event, some people found that having the ASM assist helped make the car a bit more predictable to drive. Under rainy conditions, Having Counter Steer Assist on strong and TCS at 1 is really strong. The wetter the track, the better.

I play on a controller, and notice it's pretty hard to have such precise control over the car or come even remotely close to the record times. Maybe I should invest in a wheel 😅

What traction do you reccomend ? And is gold achievable on controller ?

As low as you can go; 0 if you're comfortable with this car. It'll be hard, but I think it's doable... Someone in GTPlanet mentioned that they are on controller and are at 1:00.034

What rotation are you using on your wheel 900 or 1080 degrees?

I have it set to Auto... So not 100% sure how many degrees that is with this car.

@@MistahMCA Thank you, found out it changes in GT7 depending on the car so the X2019 changes it from default 1080 to 900. Thank you for your response.

I am surprised, I thought this would be even tougher. I actually struggled more with the Super Formula at Fuji & MP4/4 at Suzuka time trials, which I was never even close to get gold in. Managed a 1.00.680 after like 45 minutes. Good for gold right now, but not sure it will be enough for gold, will be close.. Not sure I have more than a tenth in it 🤔

This track is extremely frustrating for myself. Even though I’ve barely hit gold you have to remain extremely focused. Constantly spinning out and restarting every lap lol

I told you... Last chicane was going to be easy... Hard is the first sector. Yesterday I managed 1:01.2, but I need to improve a lot more. I don't have the guts you have to go as fast as you.
