Full racing modifications for road cars! They had this in GT1, 2 and 5. So many of the race cars in game are just racing versions of road cars. We already have the ability to customise cars; adding body parts and changing the decals. We can tune road cars, yes…but not to the extent that we can make them into proper race cars. So many cars you featured in this video have race car versions in past games; the XJ220, the Honda S2000 (with the nice livery too!). And in general it would be so much fun to have Italian supercars converted into Gr1/2 race cars. Polyphony have the license to use these cars, tune them and modify them. They wouldn’t even have to make new car models, just engine packs you can buy. Maybe change the car name to add “RM” (racing modified) at the end of the name. Many of us want new race cars, here’s a simple and easy solution to meet the needs of those people. And the thing…they have already done it. The Civic Touring Car is a GT5 RM car. I feel this is an underdog in terms of updates, but one that could change the game for the better! Or at least for people, like me, who prefer using race cars!

1. Get rid of roulette / dealer invites 2. New Gr 2 and Gr 3 cars 3. More money / tracks

The 8 mission endurance races need to be updated so that you can repeat them, and then it will give these races more value

I would love some more tracks and way more events on tracks. Some tracks have only like 3 events. That is way too little for a game like this

97% of the races aren't worth doing more than once. Payouts are horrific with the outrageous prices of some cars. There are so many cars i will never get to buy because it takes to long to race n save that kind of money.

I would like: 01) more track events, lasting between 20 and 25 minutes. Payments should be fair, like Sardegna or Tokyo. 02) Endurance events, lasting 1 hour or more, with payouts around 2 million credits (clean bonus). All tracks should have this type of event and, if possible, with vehicles from various categories. Example: Gr1, Gr2, Gr3, Gr4, 600pp, 800pp, Formula... Greetings from Brazil

One thing I would like to see is performance fuel tanks for road cars. This would increase fuel capacity for road cars. For grinding events like le mans, road cars can have larger fuel tanks so they can do more laps without needing to refuel.

At this point i dont give a sh?t about new tracks or cars . The only thing that will improve this game is a working penalty system and the banning of dirty drivers.

I have a good Idea for this game. What if there would be a "GT Museum" in which you can play some licence tests or Events from the previous Gran Turismo Games.

Actual variety in weather and opponent cars. You race against the same opponent cars in the same positions in the same weather every time you do a particular race. It doesn't feel like an actual race, just a predetermined challenge. Other than that, more championships in a variety of car types and performance levels. Love the channel! Keep up the good work

I think the easiest thing they could do would be to extend the endurance races with weather. Even 4 hours would be great. And for gods sake increase the payouts and get rid of the stupid car tickets. I've got all the cars and still I get tickets.

I hope we get a big update considering there is new racing games released or upcoming in few months

Honestly I would like a way to keep a car's original manufacturer decals even if you choose to paint it. Whenever you go to paint the vehicle it will tell you "will remove all original decals" I wish It would give you the option to respray and keep original decals or respray and get rid of the original decals

What GT7 needs is a overhaul of the custom events and the payouts. Also some carrer events are a joke when 2 laps of Nordschleife get you only 25 K while one lap gives you 64 K. Also GT7 needs a weekly task just like Forzathon is.

I wish every track had 1 hr enduro event like spa does. I’d LOVE to race around Bathurst and get 1.8 mill for it

Small fix, when you enter a lobby with the race taking place you xannot change your car. If you enter in the wrong car and want to change and tune to pp you have to wait till the end

Speaking of events, I think there is no easy way to find events. I'd like a search filter for 600, 700 or 800pp events or Gr3 and Gr1 etc.

I think the whole roulette reward thing is silly, especially since I noticed lately they are just giving the smallest amount of credits all the time. With the 3 stars vs 4 stars giving 10K cr, just give the price.

This game can only be saved if the next update is like 2GB we need major improvments....payout...penalty system etc....we need like a pack of tracks,events and cars...

There's so many cars from the 1920's to the 1950's, both road and race cars that just aren't eligible for anything... it would be great to have some races where we can utilise these as at the moment they're just wasted.

Being able to choose cars from your garage in split-screen mode like GT Sport would be a qol change

They need to fix splitscreen as well I play it with others and hate the no options menu for the 2nd player. Has assists and automatic on you can't change it. Why? In the past its always been good up until now

Your thoughts on multi class is literally the same thing I was thinking. A lot of these cars are in categories that they shouldn’t be in because of laziness. Say for instance the GR010. Yes it’s faster than both Gr.3 and Gr.2 although being not much faster than Gr.2 depending on what car you’re in, but it lacks against the Gr.1 cars because it’s a Hyper Car. It’s both heavier and slower than the LMP1s and old Le Mans, and BOP doesn’t even change a thing. If they ever do end up adding more LMDH and LMH, they should be put in a category of their own. And there’s enough Hypercars for them to do that as well.

Do us a favour and put a decent single player campaign as you had to gt, sport . And make race’s worth playing ie money 💰. Come on some of the updates are are nothing but minor fixes we can’t notice. Having far more fun on crewfest and roll on Forza motorsport 😊

Definitely need more events. My #1 complaint is lack of events. Compared to older GT games, its pathetic.

Something else that would be nice, would be if they updated the real life tracks to the current location. Some of the IMSA tracks have been improved in real life, Laguna Seca, Spa, La Mans, Daytona. These are just a few that I can recall, adjust the track limits to reflect the current location as well.

I would like if they'd add more limited time event with good pay out. Something like the time trials but have race event, drift challenges and this last might be a stretch but how about leaderboard drag racing

GT1 to 4 had soooooo many more options and so much more enjoyable in single player mode, started to lose the plot from GT5 on 😢

Good points, but the lack of races is also regarding sports mode. 3 races per week arent enough to keep me interested. We need a track rotation system, which gives us at least 6 races per week. Tracks should change every couple of hours for more variety. Also whats the point of grinding for cars, if we cant use them in sports mode? Maybe there should be one daily sports mode race, which allows the use of our own tuned cars. Plus GT7 really needs to get rid of catching the rabbit races. Starting last with AI a minute ahead, because AI is incredibly bad isnt acceptable. We need normal races with good AI opponents.

At this point I would appreciate more new events than new content, more options and details for the ffb, smarter menu links(changing car for any event), if they add, let's say, 3 cars and one tracks without addressing the game issues it wouldn't improve the game that much

Just more race categories for existing tracks .Or another altenative . Have a car entry point in any of the existing races .The point of difference being that entry is rewarded according to position attained based on the PP enty .For example entry into the 800 PP race at Sardina with a 700 PP car .5th place or better for the reward .

They should bring back either Seasonal Events or Special Events

I have been playing crew motor fest for three days and I absolutely love it and there are so many things in this game Gran Turismo should implement and while 1 is in arcade game in one is the simulation. I do believe Gran Turismo could learn a lot from the crew motor fest for a start fix up the bonnet view... Instead of that stupid roof you that Gran Turismo had. They need to change the reward system. In Gran Turismo you get nothing for competing online which is just stupid and hence why players don't want to play online. Also the penalty system in Gran Turismo is totally broken now in crew motor fest. There is no penalty system so you can't have that in a simulation I get that but the penalty system is ridiculous. Someone rams into the back of you and you get the penalty in Gran Turismo is just stupid also the fact that they don't listen to the players and they don't upgrade anything. If you look at the 18 months we've had since the game was launched we've had about five or six new tracks and maybe 30 cars but many of them are very similar to the ones that we have. The other thing that crew motor fest does really well is it uses its retro cars in events you get to drive them and compete in that vehicle in the playlist in Gran Turismo you buy a legendary car for $20 million and then it sits in your garage and you don't even drive it because there's nothing to race city except for one mission which is diabolically difficult. There are so many things broken with Gran Turismo that I don't think it's fixable, and to be honest, I won't be going back for a very long time. I posted the same comment on GT7nFacebook page and my comments were deleted. The problem with polyphony digital is they don't like taking criticism. The game needs a complete overhaul of the reward system in the money I would make online races if you win you get 500,000 and if you finish last you still get 100,000. If you withdraw from the race, you cannot compete online for one hour. And you have to spend $2000 to enter the race as well. This would create an incentive to finish the race.Kaz ..... He doesn't listen to the players we have the same for grinding events that we've had from the start. I think one of them was added after about six months, but every single track should have a $1 million for 30 minutes of racing. In fact, I would have a much simpler system every minute you spend racing you get paid yeah so if you drive for 30 minutes in the game you get paid $1 million no matter what you're doing so long as the car is moving and going around laps if people want to sit there and type a controller. Well people will do that but seriously, those people aren't really people. We won't playing the game, but the whole reward system is actually broken and they don't listen because they have your money now and they don't care. Why can't we have a retro event which uses the old car online. So we start to use some of these 1950s 60s and 70s cars which were advertised at the start of the game when you see that first video you think wow cool, we gonna race these old cars and maybe we should race them with no ABS and no traction control. That would be fun but no no there's none of that and that is the core problem with this game is it's actually not fun it's a grind bit like going to the dentist to be honest you just want to get in there and then get out. There is no dynamic weather in any of the daily races. I think there was one and then everyone complained. Here's the other thing I would do. If you run a really good time on a lap and that is better than your qualifying time, that is the last time you use for the next race so in other words laps that you run in races count as qualifying for other races after that way, you don't have to go back and try and get a faster time to get further up the grid

GT8 is supposedly in development already, but that doesn't mean they can't have a team working on updating gt7, let's just hope GT8 is a true sucessor to the much loved GT4

Updated gr3/gr4 cars would be great, some if not all are 10years old or coming up to that, the racing world has moved on and GT hasnt. Its not a good look to be running online championship with out date cars.

Events to have multiple PP categories to increase variety of eligible cars eg world touring car 500, 550, 600, 650, etc Select event by event type as well as track location for example all word touring car events on same menu Returning tracks & premium cars from GT5 & GT6 does not even need to be updated game model/graphics. Ceramic brakes should give weight saving and improve tyre wear Carbon prop shaft should give weight saving and improve engine performance due to less mass to rotate

To support Multiclass we really need a grid bump, even if it's just up to 20.

The best feature Polyphony can bring back is B Spec Bob or give us B Spec Sophie, so we can have Bob or Sophie do the money grinding for us. Although I feel like Bob or Sophie should also take up to 10% of the prize money away from the player for themself, just like Forza did in Motorsport 3 and 4, as the player is making the ai do all the racing for them.

I wish Polyphony would make it much easier for users to give feedback and share ideas.

Personally i am a huge fan of endurance races. This year has introduced alot of new hypercars like ferrari and Peugeot. I know designing and developing a new car takes alot of time. But, i would really love to see these new hypercars added

Hopefully somethimg big is coming end of september just before forza motorsport releasing to keep things fresh we know an update is coming but not on what else it including besides buyable ambulance and gr corolla but i would expect more than that with fm lauching in october

I feel they should add some more DTM cars like the BMW M4, Mercedes AMG and some more like the Audi a4 dtm r13 and more from different eras.

I agree more race cars. How about races for gr2 cars there in rhe game, but no races for them. More races at high speed ring love that track. More races with bigger payouts, and endurance races. I would like to see better body kits,and be able to change the wheels on all cars. Nice video

The whole race event system is ridiculous, I don’t know why they don’t just overhaul it completely. Too many tracks just don’t get driven, it feels totally different from past GTs where it felt like you got to know every single track. All it takes is simple interface coding and some math to keep the reward system consistent, maybe testing. At the least they could introduce some 600/700/800/lmp/f1/vgt 5 race championships with random or variable tracks, instead of this ‘hack the game’ mindset of only choosing between 3/4 tracks that are worth driving. The roulette system is a total mistake too and should just be gone. Would rather have daily missions/races or something with a grind goal.

I know this is a lot to ask, but I would love to be able to filter liveries in the showcase. Select by likes, wide body, etc.

My main thing is get rid of the roulette wheel it's a major part is laughable of a joke as well as emissions as well as a cafe they need to go back to old-school and bring back the GT original races like you said and they need to add more events again like you said but also what I really enjoyed is GT4 they brought up B spec I know they probably won't bring that back but I would love it if we could bring a four-man b-spec team-long 24-hour event and I would love weather on all tracks and I would like to see new tracks added I don't know if Sebring was ever one that was in these games cuz I've only played 1-3-4 GT Sport as well as seven and make the event payout more and a whole lot more including custom and multi-class racing like you said

I think gt7 needs a massive online race overhaul because of it has to accommodate that gt7 is cross play so they need to fix the online race lobby before they even think about making gt8

I'm sorry to say but I'm just waiting for Forza Motorsport at this point. The only time I even play GT7 anymore is when they release an update. Play it until I have bought the cars and tried a track if we get one and don't touch it again until the next one

The car invitations need to be removed at this point in the games life cycle, mate. It’s ridiculous how we have to rely on RNG just to get one and we might end up getting the same one time and time again even when we’ve bought the invite only cars from a specific dealership. Gran Turismo 7 is all about completing your car collection and we still have to rely on luck in order to do that. Polyphony need to put that system in the bin once and for all if you ask me.

Racing Modification Feature from Gran Turismo 2

If we have to wait 2-3 months for them to give us a significant, large update, I’m okay with that. One with all of the changes we’ve been hoping for? Do it. Not 3-4 new cars/races that I’m going to drive once and walk away from. Give us something we’ll want to return to instead of something we’ll walk away from.

I'd love to see Midfield Raceway and Tokyo R246 back in the game... And of course they're working on GT8. It *may* even be near the end of this console cycle....

I don’t think there is any sign that they abandon the game. It was clearly said that the Sophy AI will be integrated in the game, at least this will be a huge update.

If they add the mercedes amg w11 f1 car to the game would be nice
