Outline:
The events of Relink take place in Zegagrande Skydom. In this corner of the world, islands are guarded by powerful creatures known as primal beasts and winds carry tales of a secretive organization known as the Church of Avia. Thank you for answering the equipment question! That was exactly the kind of information I was looking for. I'm getting big Monster Hunter vibes in terms of how upgrading gear is gonna work, and I'm a huge fan of that series. It seems like their goal was to make a great single-player focused RPG, but also have a nice chunky multiplayer side that will keep us hooked well after we are done beating the game. Every single boss fight they have shown so far looks outstanding, and it seems like they have taken a lot of inspiration from FF14's raid boss battle mechanics as well which is also another huge win. I haven't been hyped for videogame in a while, but I've been following Relink since it was announced a few years ago now and it looks like those delays were well worth it. I could easily see myself putting in hundreds of hours on the multiplayer side of things because those end-game quests and boss battles look amazing. Thanks again for all the hard work you've been doing on covering this title! Your journalism coverage on Relink has been nothing short of perfection!

After about 2 hours with this demo, I pulled the trigger on the pre-order. It had a lot more depth than I expected and it combined a lot of elements I like from other games such as Monster Hunter, Dauntless, and Takes of Arise.

Nice that you answered all of the questions that people have asked and seeing as both me and my friend are still excited about this game dropping, I got around to reading the Manga and it was a pretty good read and I'm gonna be doing some lore research. At least about as much as I can because trying to look up world related stuff based on this game is kind of hard lol. Still great job in answering these questions and still waiting on the demo!

22:40 wasn't actually expecting this to get answered in this video since I didn't format it as a question :V Thinking back, I think I was actually replying to someone in that community post. Nice to see how many methods there are though. I noticed that shinies and chests gave MSP, alongside sidequests, but I completely missed quest mode giving MSP, and wasn't aware enemies could drop them either. Since enemies *do* drop them I think it's fair to say MSP looks to be farmable at the moment, which is probably a good thing since MSP costs do ramp up the further you get into the tree, as one of the JP showcases of the game showed some mastery skills costing as much as 12 MSP to obtain.

Way you answered my question. Actually logic is that you will be able to buy those colour packs in game. Seeing steam does not get access to the deluxe edition at all, and also in GBVSR you can purchase all the colours too even if you did not but the deluxe or season pass. I think the special/deluxe editions rewards are just time and currency saving. Would be stupid to lock the community out of 3 colours because of it as well as I expect it is just palette swaps. Though idk about the sword being purchasable in game it might be unique to the sepcial editions, obviously a fully levelled sword for the captain at the beginning is also a currency/time saver. My other question is about can we change the control scheme buttons, and turn down the frequency of the NPCs talking in combat in options. You basically answered them. Looks like no to the first, and can onluy swap L1 and 2 to the second. Great video btw bro, glad I found your channel, I really appreciate the efforts you put in and clearly do it for the community. You are the go to channel for info about this game and I will be sticking around after it releases, might join the discord too (though I dont really use discord)

Seems like this game is taking notes from the sword art online games such as hollow realization and accel world vs Sao, and lycoris. I'm honestly happy about that since I really enjoyed the sao games(especially when compared to the sao anime), and I code vein had a great demo before it's full release, and I'm getting similar vibes of that demo from news about this game's demo. I'm supremely hyped.

They just, as in, 10 minutes ago, finished the part 2 of the stream with more info, as well as some other endgame gameplay. They said the demo is gonna be available at 00:00 JST 12th January, which should be in exactly 3 hours, but if I'm wrong then it's gonna be 27h (maths wasn't my forte).

This game is giving me White Knight Chronicles multiplayer vibes, and IM HERE FOR IT!!!! I miss that game sooo much. I think this will finally scratch that itch. And just in general, this is looking like the RPG I've always dreamt of. Seriously cannot wait to get my hands on this!

Will there be an Ultimate Edition for Granblue Fantasy Relink that comes with all of the DLC? I'm asking because depending on how much DLC they roll out, they might have to put out an Ultimate Edition that comes with all DLC. Seeing how they're already talking about DLC, I'm thinking of maybe waiting for the Ultimate Edition to get the game.

The story is self-contained. It can't be taking place right after chapter 177 or even towards the middle of act 3. Consider it a side-story like how there are numerous side-stories in the main game.

The story info is based on information from the developers and interviews. In the past there were also certain things shown in Relink’s dev streams that weren't revealed in the original story yet. It's messy timeline wise at the moment, and it should definitely be considered a side story, but it could also take place further into the overall story than expected.

I think is more meant to be like: some of the events of the main story up to a certain chapter have happened (like katalina and ares for example), but it takes place in a different timeline. Like the events, where some stuff from the main story has happened but are in different worlds.

Thank you for this! You gave a pretty good impression of what it's gonna be like to play. I'm starting to get the impression that this gane is not for me, which is a shame because I was really looking forward to this game for years. It looks like a tedious grind fest that makes it unecessarily difficult to switch between characters from an awesome and diversified roster. The annoying squeaky voiced animal companion really kills the vibes for me too.......... I might just commit my time to Dragon's Dogma in March instead 🤷🏽‍♂️.

Not sure if you've answered this elsewhere, or even know but: Is there any info on scaling down? For example if I have a stronger character with stronger equipment am I going to have to manually change to weaker equipment if I want to play an earlier quest with weaker friends and not curbstomp it, or does it automatically scale you down?

From what I remember Yasuyuki Kaji saying, there won't be any scaling. So you may need to set aside a character specifically for playing with low level friends. Making loadouts that bring your character down to a lower power level is also an option. This should save you from needing to replace gear piece by piece each time.

one question i have, can you cancel skills by dodging, or cancel skill mid animation? one thing i hated from tales of arise is that you are locked in skill animations no matter what you did, so long animation skills usually end up being to risky or not worth it

I have a stupid question. I want to get this game for ps5, but I don't have ps+. Does that mean I won't be able to play end game content? Raids tend to be designed with players in mind and not npc allies. I would much prefer to play this game on my console, but do I have to get it on my pc if I want to be able to actually play the full game?

demo(ps5) was great but I was disappointed at how jaggy and blurry the performance mode was. I'm playing on a giant 4k screen so it was very noticeable for me. The performance however, was flawlessly smooth. on the other hand, 4k mode looked beautiful and crisp and the motion blur used in both modes was high quality but the performance suffered from what I think is the same issues fromsoftware games have, which is framepacing issues. I don't think the game is dropping that much or at all from 30fps but it just feels so stuttery. They need to have a 40fps mode included or at least a 1440p mode with 60fps.

In online you can play any character only if you join the game but if you host you must play with main character? If so, we can get situation when people want to join game but don't want to be host. 😵

Thanks for the info.i liked FF but i'm not a hardcore gamer and "normal" Mode was that easy that i had to not use my combos to let enemies a little advantage in order to get some fun, i couldn't understand how veterans doing games could make a rookie mistake like that. It ruined all my experience and i couldn't finish the Game for that reason.thanks for letting me know a little about this Game, since i believed It was all about a story (like FFXVI) and now i know that had quest...not sure about that if i'm going to like It, but if They are like side quests i Guess It would be ok. Excited to get the final review after so many years🎉
