Just had the AWE touring exhaust installed on my C7... seriously, my first thought was HOLY SH*T!!! love it!!

Totally agree with you man. I got one of the last the AWE x pipes and it sounds great. I wanted to snatch it up while I had the chance. Next step is gonna be the AWE Touring exhaust. I also found out about AWE from 512 Garage, glad I watched his channel. Your GS sounds amazing, enjoy that car HON !

Sounds great! I have gone through 4 (2 sets) of rear wheels because they keep warping out of round! Make sure you add yourself to the list on the Corvette forum. I had to buy Forgeline's because the cup wheels are just too weak to handle the road.

Yes. Unfortunately these wheels have know issues of bending and cracking. When I got the car one rear one was already cracked and repaired. I replaced it. I have a wheel and tire warranty to replace any more cracked or bent wheels. Pretty crazy.

Yup. GM can't design wheels. I bet you like the Forgelines better and have piece of mind. I had to replace mine too. No worries on track since year one of ownership.

Been hearing a lot about those OEM wheels being highly prone to cracks. Make sure you inspect the inner barrels every oil change.

Yes...its a real issue. Its a shame GM wont replace the wheels even through everyone knows they are defective. I purchased a warranty from the dealer so if there are any cracks it will be replaced for free.

rear tips pokes out way to much for my taste. couldn't they have installed it more flushed with the bumper. other than that it sounds pretty good.

Excellent video. I'm re-watching this months later and I was wondering... How is the noise level for those days when you just want to GT with the top off and the radio cranked? Is the noise too loud to enjoy the sound system? Would Awe Touring Axle back + stock x-pipe (silenced) work better for days like that? Thanks!

Well....If you have some time...check out my other video review about my stereo upgrade....there's no time (roof on or off) that I cant hear my stereo...LOLOLOL. My stereo is VERY loud and VERY clear... I paid a lot of money for that but I love my tunes.... The answer to your question is you will be fine with just the Axle Back (I dont think you can get the AWE X Pipe anymore...EPA Bullshit). I prefer the upgraded X Pipe for sound and performance but you would be fine with out it.

@@navarredr I'm very late lol so hopefully you already got your vette, but I have 3LT and the sound system slams! best stock stereo I've ever heard at least. I've had sound systems that take your breath away with the bass, this won't do all that, but I'm no where near disappointed, nor do I want an upgrade!

Hi so is it extremly loud in the cabin i have the track with xpipe and i literally cant drive it my radio was almost full blast and at the end of a 20 min drive my ears were ringing

Im pretty sure that CA is the cause of the X pipe being taken off the market. I believe CA started it and it spread from there.

Scott - The vette is a 2017 and warranty is already expired.

@@scottreed6270 You will not be disappointed. I almost positive that you can replace the cat back exhaust and it will not effect the warrant. Not so sure about the X Pipe.

Silent??? It’s a V8 with an catless X Pipe and aftermarket exhaust. It’s never silent. Lolol.
