Of course because back than GTA V came in 2013 when the Xbox One and PS4 came out so there was doubt of a remaster but know it’s just sad how rockstar games is doing it again for PS5 instead of releasing a new game for that console

Oh my god the nostalgia. I remember my dad leaving to Best Buy to buy Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. He comes back looking slightly disappointed and says to me “They sold out”. But he takes out another game. It says GTA V. I had no clue what the game was about, and I never heard of the gta series. The second I put the disc into my console, it would start a lifelong obsession with the series, including previous gta games. Words can’t describe how valuable this game is to me, and how rewatching this trailer makes me feel.

I know this comment is a year old, but I wanted to say that this is exactly how I feel about GTA IV. My dad got it for me after finishing 5th grade 9 years ago and it will always for the rest of my life hold a special place in my heart right next to minecraft, MW2, BO2, and other childhood defining games.

Max de Bock probably was into call of duty heavy at the time and was younger. It got him into the older gta titles so I’d say it’s fine.

Max de Bock Around that time I was never really a “gamer”, even tho I owned the classic systems such as the wii and DS. My mom wouldn’t even let me get Halo because of the rating. My dad however, could care less. So whenever I went to his house I was only caught up with the 2 games he bought, which was originally for him- which is MW3 & BO2. I didn’t have much exposure to the general videogame atmosphere at the time but it led me to play other games and really enjoying videogames.

The original 2011 one is great because that *anounced* the game, showed us what it would be about. This one is also great because it shows that same game, but with beautifully remastered colors and graphics, and more things happening (actual grass, working dashboards, first person, etc)

The entire radio station of Radio Mirror park made me find the type of music I prefer. I met Twin Shadow (George) and told him I discovered his music from GTA. He thanked me for actually discovering his music from here. He’s a really chill guy compared to his GTA counterpart since he is the radio host of Radio Mirror Park. For once I’ll thank Rockstar for letting me discover my actual taste in music.

Honestly this takes me back to 2013 when I first got the game and I had so much fun, a few years later in 2017ish I finally got it for the ps4 and I had so much fun replaying it. Then I discovered online and met some of my closest friends and had some of the happiest moments in my life

@@huzzzer6083 I was glad that GTA VC was rated 16 here because it’s a censored version with no blood but little did they know that the original 2002 release had a bypass for the region locking by changing the console language to English and then load a German save file. The German USK 16 version lacked following: -No blood when hitting or shooting anyone -No money from dead people -You cannot hit dead people who lay on the ground. -No dismemberment (no headshots) -No rampages - 2 cut missions -altered 100% stats (due to mission changes)

you´ll be amazed to notice how cheap GTA V is when it comes to story. There´s no story at all on single play campaign. And get ready to grind on online... Believe me, i got more than 600 hours on it already.

Eugenio Hertz yeah i'm sure GTA V has a deeper storyline. the way it branches between 3 characters is fucking brilliant. WD sure had a nice storyline but kind of meh at the end. you know it's like a "was that it?" kind of feeling.

no it hasn't. the whole game is like a sitcom. or an evil sitcom. you go from many situations till you finish it. the ONLY part that resembles a story is when michael and trevor get back to north yankton. the whole rest is the opposite of deep. you dont know much about anybody in the game, except for michael and trevor, but even that, just a little bit. this doesnt mean you should avoid the game. but dont have high hopes, because to be QUITE HONEST... the single play campaign is a joke. Im got more than 600 hours on it, and still it´s fun to play, but if you´re the kind of person that gives much value to story, and your main motivation is to discover the story, this is not your game. GTA 4 and Sleeping Dogs have stories much better than GTA V.

***** I've used 4k textures in Skyrim, on top of a variety of other mods and it managed to run well on the 1.5 GB VRAM I had back then. It's surprising how modders equipped with limited tools can optimize a game better than developers like Ubisoft, who put priority on catering to consoles.

I mean I never beat the game nor fully experienced it, I really got into for about a month last year runnin heist with a friend. Then when they announced it for the Series X|S and ps5 I told myself I would really pick it up and play start to finish and also dive into multiplayer, this is a perfect time for me and also it was literally 20 bucks 😂 I can’t beat that. So now I’m playing the game as a new experience with 4k 60 fps 😅 It’s not bad. I’m enjoying it. But I get where y’all are coming from, it’s “ been there done that for y’all. “

I have a I7 2600k 4.5 ghz 2 GTX 680 in sli 16 GB RAM And guess what WD runs like CRAP, stuttering and freezing every second or two even on medium settings and that shouldn't be the case on such a good rig. GTA IV for that matter runs like 5x times better and Max Payne 3 is running awesome, and I believe GTA V is going to be at least as good if not better in optimization than Max Payne 3, so in your FACE ubisoft! R* my money is yours.

GreenRazerz On PC at first few months - Application Error, BSOD, memory could not be read. After some time and lot of patches, and some mods by players - it will be playable. On the other hand - Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire have a not bad optimisation (Of course, MP3 is not a OpenWorld, Noire don't have something special, except face animations) But still it's would good look on top PC. We will see in Autumn...
