Lovebites "E" songs are the one you want for those slower pace metal sound ("Epilogue", "Empty Daydream" and "Edge of The World").

epilogue is their only true power ballad and it’s a very beautiful piece. all the other ballad gets fast half way through.

In my opinion, this is one of the best thrash songs ever written.

Nice reaction, and yes, correct egg and soldiers technique :) Lovebites - "Edge of the world live" is more of a ballad. If you want something that has a slower pace that's a good bet. My personal favourite slower one is Lovebites - "A Frozen Serenade live" To balance that out with some more manic ones. Lovebites - "Thunder Vengeance live" & Lovebites "Winds of Transylvania live" It took me about 3 months from discovering Lovebites to them becoming my favourite band, and it's the only time I have ever had a favourite band. Very simply put they just have more songs that land in "my favourite songs of all time" playlist than any other band I have yet discovered, and they are outpacing the other bands by a VERY wide margin. I have about 10 Deep Purple songs, and about 10 for Zeppelin. Lovebites I have about 40. It's getting ridiculous. To keep you going on your journey of new music, but sticking with the metal (mostly, a bit of funk and punk in here as well) / japan / women vibe, here are a few more artists that might interest you. It will depend on your tastes of course as I have never know anyone to like all metal. Each of these bands is it's own rabbit hole. As with Lovebites most of them have quite a dedicated fanbase so it might be worth hitting a song for each to pull in some viewers and subscribers from each fandom. Most of these bands have both clean and unclean vocals, so if you like both great, If you only like clean, well they are still in there. Yes, you have to listen to the E songs to hear their ballad side. Edge of the World has the best solo by Miyako IMO. Epilogue is a full on ballad, also with great leads by Miyako and Midori.

Sir, I really appreciate your reactions to this amazing band. These women are extremely talented, skillful, versatile and exceptional musicians. Their live performances are just outstanding. Some people say that they’re breaking the walls of stereotypes in the metal scene. If you thought that in order to play heavy metal you needed to wear black leather, chains, piercing, do growling, tattoos, making faces, drink lots of booze, do drugs, etc., then you were totally wrong. In an interview, Miho (former bassist and founder of the band) said that they wanted to play as heavy as men but keeping their femininity. Asami used to sing R&B, soul, jazz before she joined the band. Miyako (black hair guitarist) is also a concert level classical pianist, trained since 3 years old. For more bluesy guitar playing, I recommend “Edge of the world”, “Epilogue” (both live). For nice piano: “Chopin etude + Swan song”, “Empty daydream”, “Epilogue”, “A frozen serenade”, (all live)

I feel I need to stop it to give the drummer a break........LMAO. Haruna at 4' 9" makes MMA fighters jealous with her ability to hit harder, longer and faster than they ever could. One thing about Japanese drummers like Haruna/Lovebites and Arkane/Band Maid they have insane talent BUT it is their endurance that is staggering.
