I think that the point a lot of people miss is that when recipes travel from one country to another, there are changes in the recipe mainly due of the availability of the ingredients, taste palate of the people and because of the general way of cooking that is present in that area. So everybody knows it not authentic, but it is expected. I doubt anybody can make authentic indian food except the indians and indian food is very complicated, but I am not expecting americans to make authentic indian food lol. I am just happy they like our recipes to try them on their own.

I will never understand why people would feel the need to dislike these videos.

I absolutely love their take on American lasagna! I am from an Italian family, and yes the recipes are different but I bet the flavors of their culture have made this dish amazing!

Other than grandpa and his family in these videos, I really love the fact that there's hardly any critical comments and I can see many different languages coming altogether here to enjoy watching grandpa. It only means there is hope for us all to come together and do something in the simplest ways for the less fortunate. No fancy kitchen gadgets, easy to acquire ingredients, no elaborate antics. I found Grandpa's Kitchen only last night and spent many hours looking at all of his wonderful cooking and the actions he took to help others. What a wonderful person he was and is! I am inspired to help others and be kinder because of him. I am inspired to learn Indian cooking because of him. The children he fed received more than the food within their mouths. They received of his divine love -- which is pure and un-defiled as he is a true son of God and a righteous person in every sense of the word. Will his mission continue? What is the mission he left behind to continue and are you able to continue it? How is his sweet wife (I assume that is who she is)? I saw her cooking separately although I didn't know that she, too, was a great woman and the wife of Grandpa! The reason for this channel to help people in the village and if you saw the full video it was meant for small kids and poor village people. You don't get Microwaves or Better Resources in very Rural areas so appreciate the technique of using sand to create a microwave scenario. Even you won't have known such a technique. This is not about religion. country or being Uhhh but the cause to help people.
