There's such a 4d chess element involved with trolls that are like "do I just drop down..." Because just dropping down seems too easy, so you want to do something else because you're sure just dropping down isn't the right answer, and then the troll can either make it so you do just drop down but he's playing with you or you really don't just drop down Mental warfare

Poo fully showing he doesn't understand why non linear levels can exist in the Mario world, and labeling them as pick-a-path, part one-too-many

I mean, its not non linear when there is only way to do it. Basically you are presented with 3-4 choices and one is the correct one, and you have to guess which one to pick. Its not even a bad thing, people like these because they are amazing at level creation. But they don't have a skill beyond "I have seen this before" as far as playing. All the skill relies on the creator and the amazing things they do with the level.

@@GrandPOOBear I guess playing troll levels is not about clearing them, it's about enjoying the ride. And you're very right, the player skill is not platforming, it's guessing based on experience and meta knowledge (when the level creator gives you subtle hints, which they don't always do). troll levels are great every now and again, but after a while they get real old. watching Carl look at an obvious troll smile at the camera walk into it and then FREAK out becuase OMG TROLL took a lot of what i enjoyed of Carl's content and made it unwatchable. I like my puzzles and hard but not impossible levels.

Surprisingly hot take: Troll levels 100% should be taken down as they accumulate downvotes/dislikes/boos/etc. Anyone posting a troll level should be doing so with the understanding that most players will dislike being trolled.

Better hot take, Any level that nintendo takes down due to downvotes should be left in the game, but removed from the easy/normal/expert/super expert queues. No reason to remove them from the system for that, just only give them to people who are looking for them.
