A slightly longer recording with different combinations of bells rung fully muffled, whilst the tenor bell is rung throughout half muffled.
2:22-10:01 Rounds and called changes on the middle six (bells 3-8)
14:29-18:58 Rounds and called changes on the back eight (bells 5-12)
22:00- 27:24 Rounds and called changes on the minor middle six (bells 2-7)
32:23-39:00 Rounds and called changes on the front five (bells 1-5)
43:02-49:46 Plain Hunt on the middle six (bells 3-8)
52:20-56:36 Round and called on seven on the back eight (bells 5, 7-12)

This ringing is a few for a ceremony and a few for a funeral. This was the best idea to commemorated on fo the most queen who set at Uk trone.

Thank you so much for this beautiful video. My nine year old boy has noticed that the E sometimes stands out, sounding louder that the other bells and wonders why this is.

The big bell in the centre is half muffled, all the rest are fully muffled, so yes on one swing it is much louder and the other quieter like the rest. bigwilfsbellmuffles.co.uk/default.html# that website has some pictures of muffles and muffles on the clappers. In principle one swing results in the metal clapper hitting the metal bell (loud) the other the leather muffle is in between deadening the sound (quiet).

@@StStStS dove.cccbr.org.uk/dove should be able to give you your local tower. If you contact your local guild, they can guide you where lessons are available and contact details. Nine may be a little young, but Ive taught from 11+ age.
