Daphne, I know this tutorial is a year old but let me just tell you that I am so in love with this album. Your directions are so clear and thank goodness you don’t edit out the “ mistakes”. Truly, this is the only way I learn how to fix my own errors…thanks for teaching me so much. Your design flair is enchanting!

Welcome to the channel. Here is how we organize our project. We have a playlist for each project (usually named for the paper collection used). In the playlist video 1 is the walk through, video 2 is the base album build the following videos customize the album for the project with interactive elements and designer paper. Beautiful album. I love that flower pattern too but those squirrels are nuttin' but cute! I actually love the use of "color blocking". Breaking up busy patterns enhances the overall look of the album, gives the eyes a momentary break, in my opinion.

OMG this album is just so precious, love the papers and all the cute animals on them. Will have to check it out and I love the style and all the detailed pages, ooh will love to make one exactly like yours. TFS will have check your upcoming tutorial on this and definitely will check that bundle out~ Yippee I just bought that bundle Daphne ! So in the mean time I'm going to start making the album so when my bundle get's here I can start working on it.

Daphinie everytime I see a new book I want the paper lol But I had been loving the paper before G45 released it , Now I only buy from Scrap N Create though because I get the extra goodies with the collection 😊 I missed out on that many times and then I ordered from Scrap N Create and was so surprised and thrilled that I got Surprises and so I started checking there first and learned they Always have the new Stamperia and G45 😃 And of course I got addicted to the books and been making a bunch 😊 Thanks to you !!

Hi Daphne! Great video and gorgeous project. How much brown cardstock for all the page bases do you think I will need? Looking at the brown in the Nostalgia Recollections pack at Michaels and wondering if 10 sheets is enough or how many packs I should get. Thanks so much!

To make the base album you need somewhere between 35-40 sheets, includes the large pocket inserts. I use 8 1/2 x 11 for the album and 12 x 12 (3) sheets for the cover. Daphne

Where do you get the magnets? I bought some from another company and they are so strong I can barely even get them apart

I’m so torn… this paper looks so good with a Kraft color cover but then no book binding tape… any advice?! I want to make a baby book… so it could potentially get used very often and need to hold up well.

Because i wrapped the spine with designer paper that helps. But for a baby book you really need to make sure the pages are seated well. www.amazon.com/BookGuard-Premium-Cloth-Bookbinding-Repair/dp/B00W3S7LW2?th=1 This brand has a brown book binding tape that might work.

Guilty as charged. I certainly understand your time constraints and it’s really none of my business. But after making almost every one of your minis with you it would be refreshing to not have to do the same-old same-old. I realize I’m free to create whatever page style I want but I usually follow your tutes word for word. The only thing I might change is the paper collection. Just thought I’d throw it out there. Don’t hate me ❤️
