Turn Off Seat Belt Chime in a Ford 2011 or Newer: How To

A quick and easy way to disable the seat belt minder in a newer Ford vehicle. My truck is a 2011 F250 with the 6.7 Powerstroke, but this trick should work for any newer Ford vehicle. Let me know if you have any questions on turning off the seatbelt alarm in your vehicle.

I've been driving a Nissan Titan for the past 15 years and they don't have a seatbelt chime. I just recently got an f250 and its been driving me crazy, so thanks for this video! It worked on the first try!

Best thing about this is when you're backing up a trailer, you don't have the seat belt in your neck, and you don't have any dinging.

One question do you have to disable it each time you go somewhere? After I disabled it I decided to try it and turned in my truck to go somewhere and the seat belt came on again

In my experience if you get it turned off correctly it should not come back until you turn it back on by repeating the procedure. It might reset if your car battery dies or something like that

Matthew Grieshop My EZ Lynk tuner from PPEI has settings to adjust the tire size for the speedometer and turn off the TPMS light. I don’t have a quick fix for that one without a tuner unfortunately.

Weird! Make sure you follow every step exactly with the locks and all. I’ve done it on many 11-16 f250s with good results

Do you know how to turn off the head lights when you shift into gear?I have a 2015 f250 6.2 gas truck an when I shift into gear the head lights automatically come on might be different since yours is diesel any info is appreciated thanks

Caleb Simmons I leave my head lights dial turned all the way to the right and pulled out for automatic head/fogs and they come on when it gets dark enough. Otherwise they are off. The only other random thing I know about headlights is that the fog lights turn off when you have your high beams on. I’ll let you know if i find anything else.

Caleb Simmons pulling it out turns on the fog lights. And if it’s in the automatic position they come on and turn off automatically with the head lights. If you don’t have them then I imagine it won’t pull out or it won’t do anything if you do
