You really put your cherry picker to the test on a couple of those logs but you got them onto the trailer, good stuff.

That’s the trailer we need. We have the 1991 f600 with a 22,500 gvw coupled with a 24,000 gvw trailer would put us in a good spot.

Yes sir! I tell you what . . . I think about that little boom when I'm loading the logs too. It's hard not to be hard on equipment in the wood industry. Sometimes you have to muscle through it! It can sure haul a lot of wood though. I appreciate you watching the videos. We're getting rain too, and boy am I tired of it. Take care! - Samuel

Nice work hooking the old Ford and playing skidder. What does your buyer do with the logs? Around us, most logs go to cross ties and they want them either 9' or 18' long.

Hey man . . . thank you! I ended up hauling these logs to the stave mill. Stave logs were bringing $2/bdft. at the time of this video. We’ll have a bandsaw in in a couple of weeks. After that we’ll be turning a lot of our logs into building projects across our properties. I’m looking forward to that. I’m also looking forward to milling ties. I think that’s a great way to make a quick coin on “just fair” logs. 👍🏻 Have a great week, and stay safe out there! - Samuel

I hauled this load of logs to the stave mill. Our sawmill won’t be in for a couple more weeks. After that we will be milling everything ourselves, or at least . . . I hope we do. I may end up hauling a lot of the Red Oak to the mill. There isn’t a big demand for Red Oak around here.Thank you for watching! Have a great week, and stay safe out there! - Samuel
