FYI - Teflon tape on those fittings is inappropriate as the threads don't provide the seal. The seal is between the rounded/cupped ends. The threads just bring those ends tightly together. Teflon tape is really less useful than most believe for that very reason. You need to be aware of how a pipe/tubing joint seals to know if Teflon tape is called for.

I had to laugh at Ben after his HD run. My saying is "It will cost twice as much and take 3 times longer to do the project" At least that is how it goes with my home renovation projects.

Great video guys..! Also, when verifying the + and - of wires use the voltmeter by touching one wire with a probe and another probe to the metal on the chassis. Putting the probs on both of the wires will only verify that power is circulating through that part of the harness. I doesn't tell you which is + and -.. Cheers!

I keep my doors locked in my cars at all times, even when the act of shifting to park unlocks the doors, I immediately lock them until I check surrounding area to get out.

You should see where the crazies put my water pump. It's in the far back corner with all the other pluming. I hope it never fails. We use motion lights in the pantry. I Velcro them in with the light shining into the cabinet. Defiantly one of the best mods yet.

a cleaner option you could have gone with on the 12V adapter, if you are planning on leaving that brick there and never using it anywhere else, would be to cut off the plug portion of it. All of those 12V cigarette plugs are only 2 wires, positive and negative, and then just wire that up to the buss bar. Could make for a cleaner install, but you are now making that brick a "permanent" option in that location. Or what I have done in the past is use some banana plugs or some other type of quick connect off amazon and have an option for both.

I went thru a similar issue. Found that the winterizing connection was for some reason sucking air regardless which way the valve was positioned. So i removed it completely since i will never have to winterize.

For what it’s worth, a tool-tip i learned from KZfaq is that you can use a rubber band to remove the stripped screw. Lay it with a single layer flat across the screw. Insert your drill bit and it should grip the screw and remove it. ❤️❤️🌷🌷🇨🇦🇨🇦

RVs are made by man not machines a worker has a bad day he will miss things during the build and the other thing is there is too much torque n twisting on the road it’s almost near to impossible to have something that strong that it won’t twist n torque, in my opinion rvs are made to last for weekenders not full timers because weekenders are on the road so little it takes a long time until something breaks by all means use a Rv for full time living but the Rv won’t last it’s impossible ,I’m a weekend camper n my Rv is 5 years n I have hardly no repairs to do but I’m sure if I lived in it full time everything will break just a matter of time, happy camping!

I was wondering WHY you had the doors hinged from the top when built. Having an extra hand is always nice, but most women traveling by themself, using something as a spacer under the door while aligning it works when an extra hand is not available. As far as lights, I would put one of the little stick on lights to allow the children to see what's in the back. A stick built house or a RV..repairs, maintenance is a continuous part of ownership. THANKS for sharing you journey.

You can try switching doors too. I would just put on a new magnet for the door so that you do not need to do more holes. I am a 72 year old female whose Dad taught how to do all this stuff. So total for GIRL POWER!

Yes seems there is always some going on for used motorhome. I found out I have a water leaking at the bottom of my side radiator. A RV repair shop quoted me a 10 hours job and they would try to keep it under $2,000 . Well I ordered a radiator leak tester off Amazon will be here this coming Monday. I will find where the radiator leak is my self and try to fix it myself. I'm sure with parts and maybe other things added to there quote it would be closer to $3,000 to fix this problem. I will let you know how I fixed this if you would like to know. Also I figured I could use the radiator leak detector kit on my car as well if ever needed. The radiator leak detector shipping and all was around $50.00 .
