(English / Português) - The Sequoia proved to be a fun bike for larger riders looking for a training partner and gravel grinder. Fast enough to higher your pulse, not shy when it comes to rough terrain, comfortable (Steel is definitely real for big guys!), climbs well, and can be packed with lowriders, several bottle cages, all sorts of gear (coming video) and the Salsa anything cage! The top tube is a bit too stretched, so definitely be conscious of stack and reach when buying this bike (I went a size lower than my previous bike, but the TT is pretty much the same) BUT if you do size down remember that the head tube is shorter!

Hey. I want this bike. There is no way to measure. What is your height, and what is the size of the frame? At me body height of 177 sm, an insem 84 sm. How much frame size do you recommend? To measure there is no possibility.

Дмитрий Сивачёв - hello! With your height I’d probably go for a size 54 or 56. Since the Sequoia has a long Top Tube, 54 could be better, BUT be aware that the Head Tube is shorter that a regular road bike, so if you don’t like too much of a saddle-handlebar drop, go for a 56 and switch the stem for a 90mm or 80mm. Check out the website “competitive cyclist” for a full bike sizing measurement - it’s free!

Дмитрий Сивачёв oh, I’m 187cm tall and ride a size 58 bike with a 90mm stem. I would be better on a 56, but it has too much of a saddle-handlebar drop for me (I have a short torso)

Hello!I want to buy this bike. I've measured the size 56, but it's very big. My height is 175 cm ,an insem 81 cm. Recommend what size to buy. Best regards, Konstantin

You're exactly between sizes and Sequoia is a long bike. You should definitely pick the smaller size. 54 is typically recommended for 170-175cm and 56 is recommended for 175-180cm (these numbers are directly from Specialized).

Hello! This is not a typical touring nor Cyclocross bike. The Top Tube is strangely long (I’m on a size 58 Sequoia and the effective top tube is as long as the one from my size 61 bike) so: quite stretched. The Head Tube is also short for being a 58, so there is a saddle to handlebar drop. Specialized has compensated for both and the bike comes with a shorter stem (100mm) and the Hover handlebars (15mm rise). Unfortunately since I’m a short torso rider, I had to get an even shorter stem (90mm) with a 17 degree rise. Still, riding position stretched, size down if you need to. I recommend testing before buying! Cheers!
