It's abt reaction time to counter any attacks or defend Once the entrance is blocked then the aircraft cannot get out to do what it is suppose to do; unless there are alternate exit route connected to road tunnels to disguise as civilian road tunnels alone and also the entrance is deliberately shown up as a decoy to fool the attackers
