Game development is just a form of software development, and/or artwork production. Regarding being a gamer who plays games, that's just a form of recreation, like playing cards or playing chess. It's hard to make a living off recreation. I might enjoy staring at the clouds in the sky - but will anyone pay me money for that?? Likely not.

WION is the only entity that showed Gaming as an asset. I mean in a positive way. There is a lot of room for development in the present Indian Gaming community. And people are starting to build their careers in this field. It's a very good subject to be premiered in Gravitas. As a 22 year old I think we should try to explore that field and somehow contribute to the advancement of India.

Gaming will advance but will take a lot of hard work. Even Palki ended her speech warning about gaming disorder. I was like WTH. It's a shame that most number of CSGO players in the world are in India, but how many of them are international pro players? I am a game maker and love to play games. I will promote my kids to play them and 1 of my kids is already an expert by his age. Maybe by his teens gaming would mature more in India and he'll make a name for himself as a gamer and a game developer. Let's see what time holds in the future.

Unity Learn is now free so u can use their awesome course collection to learn. Gamer here. 20+yrs gaming on PC, 700+ titles completed as of 2021 Jan. My choice of stream in school & subject in college, the job I do now are all thanks to Gaming. People (relatives, colleagues & friends) say I'm married to Video Games. AND yet, I have a "Real" Wife whom I love more than anything else in the world & I find time to balanced real & virtual lives. This account is also my Gaming channel account where I have 100+ videos now. I play games & make videos because I love it. I've won tournaments in college & office(mostly the typical CS, NFS: MW, Fifa, PUBG, COD etc) but felt the need to earn money from Gaming (even before I had a job). Thanks for this video. Perception about Gaming is changing & Im really happy to contribute to it. Just my 2 cents.

@@shivrajsingh1292 I make games too, using Unity i Have one on play store too. And have been doing after 12th. Isn't much of reliable income. Good thing you do. Still, the proportion of developers seems too low of what it could be.

You are right gaming is addiction but u haven mentioned about of the good stuff. When I started making gaming as goal and career u won't believe it literally changed the way I think. It made me to find solution for issues at a faster rate and helped me think out of boundaries It made me better at my strategic action could be games or real life Gaming has changed me . And according to gaming I'm the one who controls it it will never control me

I play a pc game called Age Of Empires 3. It is a real time strategy game. I love this game. This game has different civilization. And it is based on 15 to 17th century. This game taught me a lot. Every time I saw a unit of different civilization, like jannisarry, Strelets etc. I was eager to know about them. I searched them in internet and found more things. Now I have a good knowledge of history of americas, Europe And Asia. All because of this game.

I do to. it's my primary online game and i try to be more competitive. It's unique in the genre of RTS as you get to choose cards for home city shipments unlike aoe2 or AOM. AOE3 DE sadly had some issues of bugs, but i guess it';s been resolved and i go ranked mostly. However, one thing i hate about aoe3 DE is the presence of noobs in ranked games. They drag you down and lower your ELO.

everyone is doomed owing to miners and scalpers, but you might not need to run everything on Ultra with ray tracing to have a lil fun eh? old gen cards and stuff are still available in stores, give decent performance for the price.

I used to play bounce ball, beach buggy and a few other games on my father's phone (Nokia 2610 or 3310 don't remember the exact model) until it was stolen. I was heartbroken. A few months later my parents bought me a video game console that used cassettes. I was allowed an hour a day to game and an hour to watch pokemon/digimon ( 30 min episode each from 5:00pm to 6:00om) and I couldn't be happier. Life was good.

You want to be something do IIT-JEE get into IIT Bombay, I am an open minded person so if you even get into IIT Delhi or IIT Madras, I will accept it. Do cse from there get a job.
