When Moe hurts his two eyepoking fingers...
...either Larry or the third Stooge laughs and says "He broke it! He broke it!"
Moe then slowly raises his two "broken" fingers...
...and then eyepokes the laughing Stooge successfully.

I like how in the first one, it’s a combination of two running gags for the Stooges. Not only is it of Moe breaking his eye poking fingers, Moe telling Curly to pick out two fingers so he can poke his eyes is another gag they do.

Funny how Moe had no trouble taking his hand out of the drain when he ripped out a clump of Larry's hair, but he did have trouble when he reached down to take him out in pieces.

The funny thing is none of these gags are funny on their weekly tv shows because the sound effects aren’t there.

The Three Stooges was never a TV Show. These were short subjects released theatrically in theaters every year. 6 to 8 shorts were released each year. The eye poking sound effect was never used originally, but put in for the 1943 shorts and stayed till until they retired there.
