Goods galore returns for 2019 with this year seeing the return to service of ex LMS 8F 2-8-0 no, 48305 alongside a healthy homefleet of locomotives that included a second 8F no, 48624, BR standard 9F 2-10-0 no, 92214 Leicester City, standard 5 no, 73156, standard 2 no, 78018, ex LMS 3F Jinty no, 47406 which spent most the day pottering about with the Mountsorrel Private Owner wagons, class 25 diesel locomotive no, D5185 running with the Diesel Brake Tender and Ivatt class 2MT no, 46521 running in place of ex GWR Modified Hall class no, 6990 Witherslack Hall which had unfortunately failed it's inspection the day before the gala. Various freight trains ran throughout the day including the parcels train, van train, permanent way train, mixed goods sets and the Mountsorrel wagons too running on the busy mainline scene between Loughborough Central, Quorn & Woodhouse, Rothley and Leicester North stations throughout the day
