The Initial or Final Course could be: 1) same as calculated angle 2) 180 - calculated angle 3) 180 + calculated angle 4) 360 - calculated angle Please see the video again. If still in doubt, you may write again. Best Wishes

The courses may be stated in 3-figure notation or quadrantal notation - whatever you may be comfortable with. Good Luck

Sir in a great circle question, where the the higher latitude is north ...but vertex is not aked in question....i took the sputh pole instead pf North, i got same initial nd final courses as others, will we not get marks on it?? Kindly telle sir??

In the last question, we can find the quadrantal value of the true course and determine the direction she'll travel in. For 210° it's S30E.

In great circle sailing courses changes at every meridian (exceptions apart). So, any course will state heading at that point - not necessarily representing direction d'lat & d'long between departure & arrival positions. Best Wishes
