A visit to the Peak District in Derbyshire to catch the stone train traffic from the Peak Forest area on 31.08.22.Arrivals,departures,shunting & loading at this busy location.Dominated by GM Class 66 action with a sprinkle of Class 60 & 37.

Great vid, very much enjoyed it! Shame the 37 didn't see any use, would've sounded good backing up a heavy stone train!

Great video Dave. I went there last year and was shocked how busy it was. There is something always happening. It's good you saw the 37 although shame it wasn't pulling a heavy train. 2 tugs is a bonus aswell. Your video is brilliant and makes me want to get back there ASAP. ATB. Ben

Cheers Ben,it’s been on my hit list for sometime,not been there since the ex National Power 59’s were based there so it’s been a while😝Yes very busy and we’ll with another visit.Had hoped to see the 37 working a bit and did return a few times at different times of the day but no luck.Cheers Dave

Hi,I’d say the loader started a little early & covered the back cab,you can see it down the back of the rear wagon as well.Loco obviously has swapped ends for return journey.Thanks for watching😎👍

Sad to see really but seems the norm these days.Check out some of my B&H videos as the Mendip wagon fleet seems to be the worst for graffiti I’ve seen.Thanks for watching👍🏼
